    Nsv - Yippee!!

I went clothes shopping today and I started in a size 24 top and bottom. I can now wear an 18/20 bottom and a 14/16 top. I ended up buying 18/20 tops to just have a little extra room but I can't believe I can now fit into a large. I was able to buy a top from the Junior Section! Yes, it is true. Large was in Juniors. I'm down 46 lbs. My goal right now is to lose an addtitional 4 lbs for a total of 50 lbs.

    Started exercising again

Doubletrouble, thank you for your post. I know I am not in this alone. I feel so out of shape. I just can't imagine how much better I will feel with continued weight loss. My goal is another 40 lbs. I really want to lose that in the next 6-8 months.

6 days post op, and very frustrated

Try not to worry about him so much and just take care of yourself. The next 6 weeks are very important.

Aloe Vera juice can really help with sensitivity. You can buy it from WalMart in the Pharmacy area.

    Started exercising again

MarySue33, thank you for the inspiration. I am embarrassed that I can only do 10 minutes. It just about killed me! I remember when I started exercising 2 years ago (I lost 26 lbs post op) I couldn't even walk at 2.5. It was really bad. I am in a size 20 now from a size 24 but I KNOW that I will have to exercise to get rid of the extra weight. Thank you again for the motivation.

    Started exercising again

Josephine, thanks for the inspiration. I feel really good and I can't wait to lose the rest. My goal is 200 lbs. I weighed about 175-180 in high school and my doctor thinks I can get there, but truth be told I am looking to only get to a weight I can maintain and not kill myself to get skinnier than that. I feel good now, but I can't wait to get to a 16 again.

    My Surgeon Upset Me

Sherilynn, I am sorry this happened to you. I hope you can get your fill soon.

    Steady losers ;-)

I'm finally on the losing streak again, down a lb. I have lost 46 lbs to date since last June. My goal is 4 more lbs to hit the 50 lbs mark. That will put me 32 lbs to goal.
  19. My trainer wanted me to eat a ton of food so if food comes up you may have to explain your calorie restriction and why. That would be the only reason why I would tell them. Good luck and congrats.

    Bye bye band.

Sorry about the loss of your band. I hope you can either have it replaced or you have a successful bypass surgery. Good luck.
  21. I am 9 1/2 months post op and I am still learning how to eat. I finally got down cutting my meat into very small pieces last night. I was able to actually eat 1.5 slices of tri tip which is a lot of food for me. I need to make sure I get my protein in for sure.
  22. BigThunder, eat something for me! I miss eating quantities of food. I would LOVE to eat a 6 or 12" subway sandwich. That will all change when you are banded. Good luck.

    Why Aren't You Losing Weight?

I cut out all hard liquor this week. I am only have one drink now which is about 120 calories. I have to lotted into my daily food intake and I'm now losing .5 a day.
  24. I think the biggest myth I have ever heard is how you have to be really think to be thin. In other words, I am looking at 200 lbs which is 25 lbs heavier than my doctor says I should weigh. I may be a size 16 when I get there. Weight has nothing to do with size. Many body builders weigh a lot and they are lean and muscular.
  25. Hi bubblebut, its me again. I consume 800-1000 calories for optimal weight loss. I am not hungry at all.
