Welcome to lapband talk forum. Congrats on being banded!
-
I took off the bandages and steri strips about a week after surgery and everything was okay.
-
Marie, that is an interesting story. I can't imagine what that felt like. Good that you don't eat a lot of carbs.
-
Monica, it sounds like you are eating through the band. . Have you considered a fill? Just a thought to give you some more restriction. Good that you are going to therapy. I hope that helps you. Good luck.
-
Hi, welcome to lapband talk forum. Congrats on making the decision to be banded.
-
Devana, what a jerk. I can't believe he did that to you.
-
I am so glad your son is okay. Thank you for sharing.
-
Depends on what stage you are at. Are you on liquids? If so, don't eat any solids. The sherbet was okay.
-
Don't worry, its not placed in the groin area. It is placed just near the waist band. You can't feel it unless you really push on it or you lay down and feel for it. Julie

Hi Justin, I've been banded 10 months and I'm down around 50 lbs. I love being banded. It is great to feel restriction and not overeat anymore. -

Shirley, just make sure you have a follow up surgeon in your area in case there are issues. Julie -
If I am reading this correctly you are down 25 lbs in less than 5 weeks. That is a ton of weight to lose in that short of time. Keep up the good work and don't compare yourself to your friend.
-
I would definitely buckle up and go see your surgeon to get back on the right track. We are all human. It will be okay.

Questions about my dad...
juliegeraci replied to tboofy's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Your dad shouldn't be able to eat more than a cup at a time. He is consuming way too much food. He should only be able to eat a very small 2 oz portion of meat at a time as well. He definitely is not tight enough. He needs to be honest with his surgeon. 5 months to lose 35 lbs is not very good.
