I've learned a ton. I have learned that it is okay to be hungry. I have learned it is okay to PB when you overeat. I have learned that food isn't the main focus in my life. I am much happier now!

If you don't go in for an upper GI I would try an antacid. You may have reflux really bad. Good luck.

I agree with all the above. It probably has something to do with the gallbladder. Good luck.

Stacy, my dear. I fight my demons every day. I can only consume 800-1k calories a day. I still fight alcohol addiction on a daily basis. I just try and stick to 2 drinks a day. I can totally relate. Just eat what you can but smaller portioins. I completely feel for you. PM me any time. Julie

Shellie, typically if you have lower BMI they ask for comorbisity (I don;t know how to spell it) issues. Like your sleep apnea, etc. Good luck to you.

Fill Doctor different from Surgeon.. how does this work?
juliegeraci replied to Daisalana's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Laura, I would call your local surgeon and ask him if he takes other peoples patients. You are correct, often times they will take the ones that are from the US. No big deal to move doctors after 6 visits. You should be fine. Julie -
Glad your dehydration was found. It can be really dangerous. Hope you feel better. Julie

Lisa, congrats! Julie

They can repair it during your surgery. Just ask the surgeon. Julie

Finally Filled But Still Struggling
juliegeraci replied to Gummiebear's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Gummie, I would call and go back for another fill. You shouldn't be starving. It took me 8 months to get to my sweet spot so hang in there. About the exercise, don't get so down yourself. I am 10 months out and I don't exercise. The weight loss is just slower so be good to yourself. One walk at a time. Julie
