PB stand for productive burp. It is just like vomitting.

Try this link: Furniture Moving Sliders I put into google, furniture moving gliders and a bunch came up.

Joanne, I am just curious. Are you losing eating an entire sandwich? That seems like a lot of food to me.
-
Laura, if you can eat an entire sandwich you don't have enough restriction. I can only eat 1/4 of a sandwich. I would go back in for a fill if I were you. Good luck.
-
Sounds like you may be too tight. You should be able to eat solid protein without a problem. I would go back in for a slight unfill. Good luck.
-
Chantay, you are definitely not at the right restriction level. If your hunger is coming back within an hour that is not enough. Keep going back for fills until you are full for a few hours at least. Also, keep in mind that solid protein will keep you fullest the longest. It could be that the soft taco didn't have enough meat in it after all. Good luck.

A few questions about fills and fluro
juliegeraci replied to beckett's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Rebecca, the beauty of fluro is that you can be filled better and get to your sweet spot easier. You should be fine. It may take a couple pricks if they miss the port. Otherwise you are in good hands. Good luck. -
Weight Loss Soooo Slow
juliegeraci replied to TOOSLOW's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Yes, go back in for fills until you can only eat 1/4 cup of food. That should speed things up for you. Good luck. -
cc, you are doing great. Keep up the good work.
-
Cras253, good for you! How exciting. You will love being banded. Good luck.
-
Until you start getting fills you will have no restriction. Just try your hardest to not overeat. Good luck.

Questions! Presurgery odds and ends
juliegeraci replied to mermaidpuppy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The breathing tube is put in while you are under. The only hard part is the sore throat that may follow. I had no catheter. As far as the alcohol goes, you may feel tipsy from it easily if you have lost any weight. Other than that just try and avoid beer or carbonation. Have fun. -
Really Worried...

I would definitely talk to your surgeon to clarify. That would really piss me off. Good luck. -
Can you FEEL your band?
juliegeraci replied to jennyl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel completely normal. The only time I know my band is there is when I eat and get good restriction. Other than that, you can't actually feel it. -
This is getting ridiculous
juliegeraci replied to Clairabellleee's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should be fine. As long as what you are eating can fit through a straw you are okay. Good luck. -
Kim, what you are experiencing is normal. Especially bread. Just stick to your solid protein and see how it goes. It sounds like you are at the right fill level.

I get mine at GNC.

Having second thoughts
juliegeraci replied to wenonah's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
It is normal to feel this way towards food. I miss it too. Just try and stay focused on why you had the surgery in the first place. Good luck to you. -
Make sure you are eating enough solid protein to feel full the longest.

difficulties with fills
juliegeraci replied to hanna98's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, my friend couldn't sleep at night. She had to be unfilled a little bit and will be on medication for the rest of her life while being banded. -
I had lost 30 lbs on my own and the scale was stuck. So I opted for the lapband.

4 days post-op...really nervous/worried
juliegeraci replied to Clairabellleee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Claira, you can have anything that fits through a straw. Creamy soups will keep you satisfied so don't be afraid to enjoy them. -
Sharon, congrats on getting your surgery date. You will love being banded.
