Hi everyone, I was looking for the answer to some questions, but found the answers. I was worried about pain after surgery, but most of you say it's minimal. How long do you have to rest after getting it done? And, how long afterwards do you drink water and shakes. Im still a long way off having in done. It's all down to money, but Im still determined to have it done some day. Im getting bigger by the day and I know it just can't go on like this. Any info would be great. Thanks, laverymo..x

Hi Jamie72, you look great. I am new to this site and I am thinking of being banded. Can you answer some questions, since you have already had it done? Are you able to eat after the band or do you only take liquids? What can you eat after the band? Are you lethargic due to lack of food? I have so much to do and im afraid I wont have the energy to function. Would appreciate your views. Thank you, laverymo..x

Hi, I am thinking of having the band done and I have only just started looking into it. Im a little concerned about people not been able to eat after it and only being able to take a little liquid. After the band, what can you eat and how much can you eat? Will I be weak and unable to function? Would appreciate your views.

Hi, and thank you for replying. I am afraid of the the actual procedure and I am afraid I may do damage to my stomach. I am also afraid of things going wrong. Im maybe just panicking about it, but I do definately want it done. I have seen the results of other people and it seems to be amazing. Have you had it done? :biggrin:
