HEY, I was wondering about dr. almanza, i see alot of comments about him good and bad but im not sure what real and fake or people just being down on going to mexico, i went to mexico for my band with dr zaptta and want to have my band removed and get the gastric bypass, dr zapatta is 13,000 and dr almanza is 7,500, any help would be great, i hope your still an active member!

Shirley, have your read the infection posts? What is Dr. B doing about this? Would he consider going back to using the hotel? Yikes, I cannot refer anyone while this is going on. Please answer on private message.

I will say to you akindofmagick that it was bad here, but everyone is trying now to move on and the Mod's have been really great. Susan is usually right here to spank us if we get mouth over load butt syndrome, so don't go away, just work with all of us. This is a good place, we all just want to learn from each other, we don't care who or where anybody went. Some of us just want to learn about our surgery, some have more experience, some are new, and it dosn't matter where you are in your experience, we are all different, and we can learn from each other. There are a few chosen ones, but mostly we just over look them or report them. But please stay, if someone gives you grief, let Susan know, she will help. -

MNB, if you ask for previous patients emails, they will send them to you. They have a large patient base, so you can hear direct from their patients. I have FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE with this group. Dr. Almana did my sleeve over a year ago, I am still here. No infections, and no problems. You really have to pick and choose who you listen to on these boards. Some people have never been to the Doctor you are discussing, and they will try to scare the willies out of you. -
