I understand exactly how you feel. I had the surgery in October and have lost about 50 lbs. I have only lost 4 lbs in the past three months. I had another fill (.25cc) last month, but don't feel much of a restriction change. I'm going back in September to get more.
Imaluckydog is right about working with the band. Although I cannot eat certain foods at all anymore (french fries being the major one), I have to focus on the amount of protein I intake and the amount of sugar I don't. Even with that focus, I have plateaued. The doctor tells me that it is normal and that I will get past it. He told me to set my sights on two years for my overall goal of 100 lbs. If I think about it that way, I'm halfway there (10 months later).
One more thought...I joined my-clorie-counter.com for a few months after the surgery in order to track everything that went in my mouth. It helped me to see exactly what I should stay away from to not sabatoge myself. I still struggle with the sugar thing, but at least I understand exactly how many calories is in what.
