Protein can come from many forms. I think he just means to get majority of your protein from meat/fish. He wants you to eat less veggies because they are starchie and they will also take up a lot of room and reduce protein intake.

It's possible that you may need another adjustment. However before you do try solids. I usually go back to solids on day 3, with day 1 being the fill day. Also talk to your doctor. -
