Hi browneye. So sorry I havent gotten in contact with you sooner. Havent been in here in a while. I hope everything is going well with you. I know you are probably excited about your surgery and you should be. I had mine in December 2007 and dont regret it for one second. I love my band. I cant say that I have always been committed to the band and have had some setbacks but I can honestly say that if I had it to do all over again, I would with no hesitation. If there is anything I can do to help you along the way, please feel free to ask.

hey brenda im new this site and wanted to get some help and advice from some people. i live in tennesse near nashville. i am currently schedule for surgery 9-20 with a dr in mexico..dr alberto aceves.. i wanted a doc here in tennesse but the out of pocket was 18,000 where in mexico its 7,000 and my job will not cover for the surgery. so i need some inspiration and a pick me up along my journey.. im looking for band buddies to talk and share new ideas and helpful tips with.. talk 2 u soon..

Wow you look absolutely amazing. I know your goal is 80 but just know you are doing a great job and keep up the good work your pictures are very inspiring. I would like to keep in contact for advice pros cons I am considering the band beginning of next year. Best Wishes

Thank you for the information. I called my surgeon and will be seeing her tomorrow. I have been canceling appointments because I thought I would not be able to get a fill. That goes to show that you cant believe everything you hear. Thanx again!!!

Thanx Sarah. I called my surgeon and explained what was going on and the reason I hadnt been in. They said that it was not necessarily true that you cant get a fill and I needed to make an appointment. I made one and will be seeing her tomorrow. Have been a liquid diet for the past two days and plan to continue with this. Hopefully things will go well and I will be able to get the fill that I feel I need. Wish me luck!!!!

Hey Bren, what up? I see you just got my message huh? I visit this site just about everyday. I am finding out a lot by just reading a lotof post and sending messages to others asking questions. I am kind of upset at the staff at precision surgery because of the fact the they lost my paperwork and the front staff was not very friendly to me at all over the phone of in person. I orginally had a appt set for monday 6-1-09 and because of that I had to do all the paperwork over online and my appt was reset to 6-15-09. I do know where you church is. I attend Christ Nations Church on occassion. Im ready to get this show on the road and I hope to have this all done by July or I am going to go with a dr. in dallas who can get to me asap! Wish me luck- keep in touch.

Hey you guys. Got a question. I have only had 2 small fills in the last 10 months. I have since gained about 7 lbs.:wub: I was told by a fellow bandster that I would not be able to get a fill since I have gained a couple of pounds. Has this happened to anyone else and was you denied a fill because of this? Dont want to go through the bother of taking off work for a day only to find out that I wont be able to get a fill.
