SUZZIE - Tonight I made some mozzarella stuffed meatballs using ground turkey. So yummy - but I only ate 3 1/2 before I couldn't get another bite it. (they were approx 1 inch in size.) And I made about 40 of them, so by golly I'll be eating those tings for a while!!! :hungry: Okay, THAT sounds like a recipe that I NEED! Care to share? Speaking of not being able to eat things - any one else experiencing food wasting?!?! I hate to let things go to waste, but I cannot eat everything before it goes bad. I've never seen my freezer and fridge so full. I've had to throw out lettuce and tomatoes and peppers and milk and chicken... crazy! I didn't even really go grocery shopping this week, except for milk, eggs, and the ground turkey. I might start saving money now! Haha! I have the same problem with food wasting. And yes, the fridge is so full! I hate throwing that money away!

Okay, I had a pretty embarrassing moment today. I get "stuck" a lot, and today I was going through one of those stuck moments in the car while running errands with my son. I stopped at Radio Shack to get an armband for my iPod, was still stuck but thought I was okay, so I went in. I was looking around for what I needed when one of the guys behind the counter asked if he could help me. There was a gorgeous male customer standing at the counter, too. I opened my mouth to speak and a loud gurgle came out! (I was in the process of getting "un-stuck".) I was so embarrassed! So I said "My goodness, THAT was lady-like!"...I laughed...they laughed...and I asked for what I needed. Then as if nothing had happened...Mr. Gorgeous says it looks like I'm about to go running. (I am dressed for it, for sure.) So alls well that ends well. We all had polite conversation while checking out and I left. I guess guys really don't care about all that bodily function stuff! LOL (Like THAT is a newsflash, huh?)

    August Exercise Challenge

Monthly Total = 1930 Minutes 2 1/2 hours bicycle ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, I exceeded my goal! YIPPEE! I've never excercised this much in my LIFE! My neighbor just told me I am "wasting away", God love him! He and his wife and kids are SO NICE...we are blessed with good neighbors. The funny thing is that the more I excercise, the more I WANT to excercise. Not so much the elliptical, recumbent bike and toning stuff, but I still do it...but I just LOVE riding the trails at the park on my bike. And it has increased my well-being so much, too. This is a fantastic stress-reducer! Almost zero "blah" days any more! YEAH! I have 7.4 pounds to reach my first mini-goal (199.8) by next Friday. Not real sure if that is do-able, but I'm going to try. The funny thing is that even if I don't, it's okay because my body fat percentage is dropping like a ROCK with all this excercise and SWEATING. So I figure I must be adding muscle and dropping fat, so my weight isn't going down very fast right now. This week was good, though...I lost 3.2 pounds and 2.4% body fat. I guess when your body fat starts at way over 40%, it's easier to lose that aspect of it. I'll take it, though! "Healthy" for a woman my age is 23% to 34%, and I'm at 36.4% body fat now. My ultimate goal is 25%. I've rambled...sorry! Have a great weekend everybody!

BIGSEXY - I'm sure you will be fine. We all have heard the horror stories about bands slipping and stuff like that, but the truth is that most bandsters DO slime and PB at some point. And 99.99% of the time everything is fine. With the band stitched in like it is now (they just started doing that pretty recently), it would be very hard to make it slip. It certainly doesn't hurt to go on liquids for a bit, though. Don't beat yourself up...you are a normal bandster! And your weight loss is phenomenal! Whatever you are doing, it is WORKING! Keep up the good work!

I'm having the same issues after my third fill. I think that we are being forced to eat slower, and I also think that we are not supposed to feel full...just not hungry. Anyhow, this is what I am experiencing. I'm trying to convince myself that this is a good thing to not feel full...just not hungry. I'm hard to convince!

Thank you! You can make slideshows on many sites. That was the first time I've used Photobucket.com. Either I don't know enough about it yet, or it doesn't have much functionality...the jury is still out. My favorite slide show sites are RockYou.com and Slide.com. No the scale is not complicated at all. It asked a couple questions in the beginning and now all I do is step on....just like a rotary scale. It's great.

I've got Tony Little's BODY EXPRESS Body Fat Analyzer & Scale. It measures your weight by two tenths of a pound, and also give your body fat percentage and hydration percentage. It's about $50, and here's a link: Tony Little - Detail

Thank you, ma'am! Most of my clipart comes from photobucket.com. You can find ANYTHING there. Here's a few just for you: Oh honey! The Sonic Cookie Dough Blast is AWESOME! Of course, at just shy of 700 calories for the regular, I've only had one...and ate it over three days! LOL There are Sonics everywhere here. I've got a 15 and an 18 year old, and they love that place.

Oh my goodness...NOW I HAVE HEARD IT ALL! On the news, this very second, they are talking about how obesity can be attributed to a VIRUS! As if I need something to blame other than myself! LOL That is NUTS! I can't wait to see how/if this ever pans out. It is still in the infantile stages of research. Boy, oh boy!

Don't beat yourself up too badly, Suzzie. We all goof up, for sure. We just can't make a habit of it. Make tommorrow a good food day and you will be just fine. However, THANKS A LOT! Now I want a Sonic Cookie Dough Blast! What is it with me and ice cream lately? Before surgery I would eat ice cream maybe three or four times a year...now I want it all the time!

Be afraid of the donut! Be VERY afraid of the donut! Step AWAY from the donut or you will IMPLODE! They are EVIL! I'm just now feeling a little normal. I slimed horribly but it just would not come back up! And I wanted it to so badly. That HURT! My third fill was on Thursday, too...what was I thinking?

Good for you, Sweety! I wish I could say that I put in some time today, but I did not. I was going to go for a bike ride, but I was stupid and put a donut in my mouth and it got stuck like nothing ever before. I'm just now feeling better and its dark out, so no bike ride tonight. That was the most horrible "stuck" I've ever had and NEVER want to go through that again as long as I live! Tomorrow is a new day and I will get my time in then.

That's right...it WAS you! LOL I really don't consider him techno, either. When you suggested it, I went on Limewire and searched for his stuff, and almost every song was listed under the Techno genre. (???) So that is how Rob led me to techno. At any rate, it works for me since there are techno songs on there that are 15 and 20 minutes long...really helps me keep my legs pumping the pedals on the 15 mile round-trip trail at the park where I ride! Speaking of trails, there are a lot of you on here that live in DFW also. Can anyone tell me about Trinity Trails in Ft. Worth? I've heard it's a great running trail (I DO NOT RUN) but was wondering if it was good, or even allowed, for bikes. I have no idea what the surface of those trails are, but that's only about 10 minutes or so from where I live. I can't seem to find good info on it.

I love ALL kinds of music, except for rap, but to keep my blood pumping during a workout, I had my daughter download a bunch of techno. I never listen to techno, even though I like it just fine, but it is WONDERFUL to work out to! My favorites are classical music (especially Chopin and Pachabel) and classic rock and roll, but all the classical and most of the classic rock aren't too good to work out to...it messes with my pace too much. Someone said on here one time that Rob Zombie was good to work out to, and that is what led me to techno. Whoever said it, thank you! It was a good idea!

Okay, I'm back! I decided to take the bike out instead of obsess over ice cream! An hour and a half, and I'm pooped! Time for a late dinner. Thank goodness I marinated the steaks earlier...I'm starving!
