I just went over my daily calories...and I'm liquids, for pete's sake! I ate one of those Del Monte Fruit Chillers...so yummy, by the way! Then when I went to add it to my food log, it came in at 190 freakin' calories and a whopping 46 carbs! I thought I was going to faint! Can you believe those little frozen fruity things are so horrible?!?!?

By the way...I have to brag... Isn't my neice GORGEOUS?!?!? I love this new pic my sis sent me. That kid is happy and smiling about 99.9% of the time! She is awesome! Now she has four teeth and starting to walk...can't believe it!

You are right, of course...thank you! I was just frustrated when I wrote that. Now, as I sip on chicken bouillion and can feel it pause at the band, I have hope that this will make a positive difference. That never happened before, so maybe I've got some added restriction. The teeny fill, coupled with coming off of a month-long plateau just had me fired up. Now for some good news...as you all know (because I shouted it from the rooftops!) I just broke a very long plateau. Thank goodness! The good news is that if my weight continues trending like it is, I will be in ONE-derland in a week or less! My original goal was to get there by August 31, but "that there derned plateau moved in! I thank it be over!" (LOL Gotta have a little fun with you, BigBaby! Thanks, again!)

Well, I got my fourth fill today. A measly .5 CC's. I don't think it will make a difference just like the last one didn't. If not, I will be so frustrated.

Monthly Total = 2095 Minutes 70 minutes bike trails 75 minutes weight lifting lower body/abs 35 minutes recumbent bike interval hill trainer level 10 OMG When I added another 10 minutes on the recumbent bike, it put the highest hill five times in a row right in the middle of the workout! I thought I was gonna DIE!

Yes, I have enough energy. My energy stays up primarily because of all my excercise, but also because I drink two protein drinks a day, which is 300 of the 600 calories. I also religiously take my vitamins and fiber supplements, which is 21 of those calories! (LOL Just a little obsessive, huh?) Then I usually have salmon or chicken with brocolli for the third meal. That also leaves me room for a banana or some nuts and a couple jello snacks if I want them throughout the day. I'm tall, also at 5'10" and am shooting for 145#, but will party all night when I get to 160#!!!!:whoo: I know there is much out there about the negative aspects of calorie restriction, but it is just what has worked for me in the past and I am sticking with it. I am very careful to watch my nutrients. The only one that comes in low is calcium, but based on my tests at the docs, I don't need that much and she advised against supplementing it.

LadyHR - I see! Sorry your first fill hurt so bad. Unlimited, huh? That's pretty cool. Yes, I will post how the fill goes, for sure. Everyone - On another note, I found a pudding that is TO DIE FOR. Hunts Snack Pack Lemon Meringue Pudding! It tastes just like lemon meringue pie and is heavenly! It does have 120 calories, but if you have a sweet tooth once in a while, don't take the cover off all the way, take two or three bites and put the cover back for the next round! The meringue on top of the pudding is perfect. (They have Boston Cream, too.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ As of yesterday, I'm back to keeping my calories under 600 again. It's really not that hard, but it IS hard to keep it at that amount and still get in 90 grams of protein a day. In fact, it's damn near impossible, but I try hard and come close. Today's food log has me scheduled for 578 calories with 78 grams of protein, so that's not too shabby! I'm going to see how this goes for two weeks and then decide if I need to add a "cheat day" to keep my metabolism guessing so it doesn't go back into starvation mode and hold onto every bite I put into my mouth. I do NOT want another plateau like the one I just came off of!

I'm trying to stay away from the gym today. Very hard. I want to go BAD, but I know I need to give my muscles a day off to rebuild because I am sore. (Especially my abs and thighs.) Maybe I'll just use my resistance bands and dumbells at home today for my arms. They aren't too sore. We'll see how the day progresses!

Hey there, LadyHR...I don't think I ever saw what your fill amounts were before...or just didn't pay attention. Good grief you got a lot! Is Amy doing yours? She has been SO CONSERVATIVE with me compared to you! I am going for a fill in the morning and I think I might whine a little for a bigger fill. LOL Have fun on your vacation!

(Not to mention that the new companies' policy has an exclusion for this surgery.) I would have had to wait just like you for fills because the new company has a 90-day waiting period to begin benefits. The 90-day mark for him is October 9th, but benefits can't start until the 1st of the following month, so it would have been about 110 days waiting for a fill. I refused to wait and choose to pay for them myself. They are $150 and that is with flouro, so it is quite reasonable. I go for my fourth fill on Monday. After that, insurance will cover as our benefits pick back up on November 1st. Different places charge different amounts, of course, but at least this is an option.
