WHOSYADADDY - I'm curious....my eyes are failing me and I can't tell what kind of bike you have in that picture?
-
I just caught up from this morning...you folks have had a busy day! That spinning sounds fun, but I've never seen or done it. Yes, you saw right...43.96 miles on the bike this morning. (I'm training for the MS 150 in May, and 43 miles a day won't cut it for long!) It took me about four hours today because I was taking pictures along the trails at the park I ride in. There are always "critters" to be seen out there. This afternoon I went to the gym and lifted weights for two hours. I am so sore! I was learning new stuff today so I can change up my workouts and not stagnate again. It's getting to be a lot to remember, though...I feel like I need to take notes on all the moves and what muscles they affect! LOL
-
You need to post your turkey meatball recipe FIRST! YUM! Making those again tonight!
-
Okay, down to business...I biked 43.96 miles this morning. I couldn't go yesterday because the weather was so yucky, so I did my Monday ride today. I'll post later after I go to the gym.

Mint Milk Chocolate Dipped Oreos FEAR NO BAND!
-
I beg of you to NOT check them out! They are EVIL!
-
WHOSYADADDY - Sounds great! Hey, aren't you the other half of MM? She's a sweetie!
-
Don't feel too bad about the Milky Ways...a few weeks ago I discovered Mint Milk Chocolate dipped Oreos...that was a BAD SCENE! I hate half the box! When I realized I wouldn't stop till they were gone, I crushed the rest up into the toilet and FLUSHED! They were almost better than sex!
-
LOL Yeah...If I get too intense, please don't hesitate to knock me off my high-horse! THUNDANDLIGHT - I felt the exact same way you do. Then, in July, I decided to heck with that and started working out. The first week or two were miserable...I HATED excercise all my life! But I made myself go to the gym five or six days a week those first few weeks, and then I realized that I LOVE IT. I feel great when I'm there and it gives me so much more energy. If I miss a day now, I'm not a happy girl. If you can make yourself push through the "HATE" phase, I bet you will realize how good you feel!
-
Wonderful! It sounds like the folks here are pretty active, is that right? (I'm a gym and cycling addict!)
-
Okay, so what's the format here? I see C25K a lot, but I see a lot of other stuff, too. I like the accountability, and am looking for a new excercise thread to join.
-
Hey, is anyone here taking buffered creatine? If so, what are/have been your results?
-
Okay, it's starting to sound cool! Keep us posted on how you actually lose versus the info it spits out. I'm interested to know if the numbers will jive! I may have to buy a new toy... Between Body Bugg (maybe...you are my guinea pig, ZZ!), my Ipod 160, my bike GPS, and now a new bike/pedals/cleats/winter gear....My "Toy of the Month Club" member status may need to be upgraded to support all this equipment I "need". LOL
-
ZZ - You figured that Bugg out yet?
-
D - Too funny! Okay, now I'm thinking that Andes (candies) should make toothpaste! There's your answer, B! Andes Toothpaste!
-
B - Hey, enjoy that coffee. It doesn't agree with me like it used to before the band...one cup and I'm done. (EW...Junior Mint PB.) Well, kiddies, I'm off to the gym since it's so icky outside today! I'll catch up with y'all later!

The "bi-polar" was a joke, silly! Sorry...I guess my delivery sucked! :faint: Yeah, I went to Le Target a couple days ago and got their Archer Farms Raisin Nut Blend...OMG...Heaven!
-
If he doesn't watch the quantity of that, he's going to go blind! Oh wait...that's self-churned butter...disregard.
-
B - A little bipolar, are we? LOL "Jar of Jiff" - HA! I'm that way with Planters Pistachio Lovers mix. Or really any deluxe mixed nuts. (Hate peanuts, love peanut butter...go figure.) I could graze all day on them and consume the whole container!
-
Me, too! And hubby is retired Navy! It was HORRIBLE moving all the time for 15 years. My home is the center of my life, my familys' anchor. I'm not moving again till the kids are out and I can retire to the lake! :clap2:

Yes, I'm glad for the temps, but not the rain. That would be great to ride together in the MS150 if you are still here! Snip-doc? LOL They should make a bike saddle like they make massage tables for your face, huh? Yeah, I noticed a strange absence of JC here lately...hmmm. You out there, JC?
-
B - Thanks! I hope you are still here...that would be great. By the way, was it YOU that ordered this storm?!?!? Where the heck did THIS roll in from? I just had to pull my patio umbrella out of the pool! I guess no riding today...<sniff>. :rain:

Thanks, guys! Yes, I have a LONG time to be turning in the fundraising monies. June 4th, I think. And the E-Donation Link is good anytime untill then, too, I believe. It may just work up until the tour in May...I need to find that out. I'll send the message out again in February after everyone "recovers" from Christmas and the like! LOL And probably a few more times before the tour, too! I blasted an email out to my entire address book last night, letting everyone know. Thanks for your support!

Hello everyone! I just got back from a weekend trip to Houston and had a fantastic time! I just got caught up with what I missed here, and I must say it was rather quiet! You folks who ordered BodyBugs need to let me know how you like them! I also wanted to let y'all know that I am riding in the 2008 MS150 Frisco to Fort Worth! (You can click the link to read more about it.) It is a 150-mile bike tour on May 3rd & 4th to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis. I am asking everyone I come in contact with to sponsor me, so guess who I thought of first? YOU GUYS! There are many ways you can sponsor...you can PM me here, or you can donate online through a link I've created on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star Chapter website. If you would like to donate online, the link is http://www.ms150.org/dallas/donate/donate.cfm?id=207053. If you sponsor me online, I would love it if you would let me know who you are so I can thank you personally after the ride is over! But you can always donate to my fundraising anonymously, if you wish. Or maybe you could set up your own donation link on the website and blast a message out to your entire address book. There are tons of ways to help out. Thanks, guys! (I'm off my soapbox now!) :guess

Hey, I just remembered that JC had a birthday coming up soon, but never heard the exact date! I don't know if I'm late, early, or what...
