I know a fill can "kick in" up to three weeks later, but even when mine did, I had restriction from the start...it just worsened all of a sudden down the line. If it were me, I would go back for more of a fill. You know your body best, and from what you are describing, it sounds like you need it. As far as slipping, that is my understanding, as well...you would be in total band hell with pain and not being able to eat or drink at all. Now the biggie in the meantime while you are figuring out what to do is the snacking. Don't beat yourself up over the snacking...you are HUNGRY for pete's sake! I have taken to snacking about 90% of the time since meals are a real pain in the ass for me. (Bonus: I think it is speeding up my metabolism some.) I eat things like seedless grapes, sliced fuji apples with cheddar is a fave of mine, Target has fantastic fruit and nut blends like Almonds and Cashews with dried Cranberries...yum! Just a handful will stave off hunger. And salads are always a great choice. These days I live on salads and fruit and nuts. Since I eat so little, I buy the really "good stuff". I really think I could be a vegetarian if I didn't love salmon so much! Oh, and of course I still do the protein drinks and I found a FANTASTIC protein bar, too, with 30 grams of protein in it. I have tried so many others and found them to be chocolate dipped sawdust, but these are YUMMY. (They taste like someone added a later of peanut butter to a 100 GRAND CANDY BAR! You should LOVE this one, SUZZZIE!) This new one is awesome and really makes two meals because its so big. I wish you luck O2B! Only you can decide what to do, but I would SO be running for another fill to make this band do its' job!

Two hour workout at the gym today. Leg day...couldn't get up to 360 on the leg press, darn it. Just couldn't do it...I tried, though. I guess I need to acclimate a little more to 270 before I add another set of plates. We are working out so hard and fast these last two weeks that I am really seeing results! I love it! Can't wait for tomorrow! LOL WHOS - Thanx for the wise words to stay in and warm last weekend! Although I did travel to Houston to do it, I did rest quite a lot. Between that and all the meds from the doc, I am *almost* back to my regular ornery self!
-
ZZ - CUT IT OUT! You know better than that! We all do it, but it's time to cut it out and get back on the plan, girl! You are doing so well...just get it back in gear! LUV YA!

All I did was eat an effing GRAPE!!!!!! I am SO STUCK!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Hooray for B! Good going! I love the change in attitude and making the best of where you are in life! Here's to not being a victim! (And let me know when you sign up for the ride...maybe we can partner up?)
-
Let me rephrase that....we worked our back muscles for an hour and a half! (LOL I re-read what I wrote and was horrified!)
-
Dibaby - .4 away?!?!? That would drive me insane! Hats off to you, girl! My god, you must be excited!!! I can't wait for the day I can say I lost 100 pounds! You will hear me screaming from the rooftop! 300 crunches today before my partner got there, when we did an hour and a half workout on our backs.

I think you are so right, Lucy. (We were banded on the same day, by the way!) I wish women's clothes had a standard like men's so we would have a true "measuring stick". Ah well...such is life. You sound a lot like me, Lucy. I don't want to spend a ton while losing, either, so I buy cheap now...but I'm definitely more of a Macy's or Nordstrom's girl. I haven't tried shopping there since the surgery...when I get another 20 pounds gone, I will go on a shopping spree!
-
OMG, Dibaby! I just noticed your ticker! Almost 100 pounds lost! How amazing!
-
I'm 5'10" or a tad more...and it looks like it's not abnormal from what you are saying, huh? That's good, because I was worried about actually getting to goal weight, and on the other hand thinking it may be too extreme to go that low. I can't recall the last time I wore size 14's at all except that I know it was over 20 years ago. It looks like I am still on track for 145 then. Now if I could just get the scale to start moving again!
-
I'm not complaining, mind you...but how the hell can I weigh this much and be buying size 14 jeans?!?!? (And Levi's brand...which my thighs were always too big for in years past!) What size will I be if I hit goal weight in another 40+ pounds?!?!? I can't phathom.

J - You are quite welcome, chica! BG - That goes double for me! I'll help "take 'em out"!

J - YOU ARE MY HERO! THAT IS SO AMAZING THAT I DON'T HAVE WORDS TO DO YOU JUSTICE! CONGRATULATIONS! Doin' The Happy Dance For YOU!

I'm going to recant what I said about there isn't a good tasting protein bar! I found one yesterday at Max Muscle called Supreme Protein. I got the Caramel Nut Chocolate flavor. If you put a little peanut butter in a 100 Grand candy bar, that is what it tastes like! It is AWESOME and it has a whopping 30 grams of protein! It will also cure any chocolate craving out there! And to make it even better, it only has 4 grams of sugar. They are awesome and I will be going back to stock up!
-
The 17th sounds like a plan...
-
Yeah, they ARE quite a cute style!
-
Definitely GO COMMANDO! I do most of the time except for jeans, which get thongs. I despise panty lines...despise them, I say!

I love EAS Premium Protein in chocolate, and it has 27 grams of protein. I get it at costco and usually mix up a "double" first thing in the morning to stay ahead of the protein game. Not bad to start with 54 right out of the gate. Other than that, I eat a lot of salmon steaks (Costco again...cheaper bought whole boneless fillet and cut up at home to freeze), cheese, Beans (LOVE black beans), chicken (which you are sick of and so am I at times), turkey, eggs, tuna, brocolli, brussel sprouts, Peanut Butter...want more? LOL On the serious side, when you are looking at the nutrition label, make sure you also check the sugar grams because so much of the high protein stuff out there is AWFUL FOR YOU because of the sugar content. Most Protein drinks, protein shots, Protein Bars are horrid. There are some good ones out there, though. I just haven't found any that TASTE good, so I stick with the drink in the morning. OH! And I have a friend on here who throws a couple tablespoons of peanut butter in her chocolate Protein Drink and says it tastes like that Reese's cereal! Gonna try that soon! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's what I found in a search: High Protein Foods High Protein Foods - Blurtit High Protein Food

Ha! That's funny! You are a HOOT, WHOS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bicep and tricep workout today. Lucky I made it there at all...I'm so sick! I finally went to the doctor at hubby's insistance...doc says one more day and I would've likely gone to pneumonia. Walked out of there with five prescriptions to fill and and order to return again in the morning and in ten days...UGH. I hate taking medicine...I take enough supplements already.

SUZZZIE - Thanks for the compliment! And 75 pounds?!?!? WOW! You will definitely be 299 or lower by New Years at this rate! I know you can do it! JAVA - You are most welcome! And I'm so glad to hear you were back in ONE-derland this morning! I understand what you are saying about taking the compliments as green lights to eat or "reward" yourself. I think that is likely very common. Unfortunately, I have the opposite problem, which can be just as self-destructive: I am stubborn and pig-headed to insanity. I don't care what ANYBODY says...it will not affect my plan. It will frustrate the HELL out of me, but it just makes me want to prove the whole damn world wrong and that I can do it. Like I said many times...I'm just a "little" competitive. (But luckily mostly only with/for myself.) When I've gone off the "master plan", it's because I decided to, only to kick myself later. (i.e. the mint milk chocolate covered Oreo fiasco a while back that I posted!) I guess we all backslide once in a while, for whatever reason, huh? I'm going out of town AGAIN this weekend to Houston. UGH! I really hate that drive, but I gotta see hubby on his last weekend on dry land before Christmas! I wish I knew of a decent place to ride my bike down there, but I just don't know the area very well. So I'll leave "my girl" home again this weekend. TONS to do before I go, so I will say to all, "Have a great weekend and I'll see ya back here next week!" Love y'all!

CHIEF is correct, if I understand it right...kind of like Captain? A CHEF works in the kitchen. Isn't it funny how words you know you know just look weird sometimes and don't register? That happens to me sometimes and drives me crazy when it does. For years it would happen to me with "conscience". An hour and a half at the gym on shoulders today. I'm so sore from Tuesday's leg workout! Why does it take two days for me to get sore all the time now? It used to be the next day, but now it's two to two and a half...weird.
-
I think that's adorable! I hope it "sticks"! She sounds like a lot of fun!

Good girl!

I feel your pain on the gain! I don't know how often you weigh, but I'm still obsessed with daily weighing. Okay...multi-daily weighing! And I can literally go up three pounds a day, only to go down four the next. And my scale is digital and I re-weigh and everything! So, overall there is gradual losing going on. If you aren't weighing yourself very often, or just at the docs, you may have caught yourself on an "upswing" day and you may be fine. Just a thought! No matter what, you are making great strides overall! Don't let a plateau get to you too much like it did me! It's not worth it! Your body will let go and start losing again when it's right. It's just never fast enough for us, though, is it? We love you and are here for you to rant to!
-
O2B - Yes, "finally" is RIGHT! It's going pretty steady right now, knock on wood. Thanks for the encouragement! Java - Thank you for the compliment! But hubby always makes me look good! LOL Seriously, thank you. And it's nice to hear someone agrees with sticking with the initial goal with an evaluation point! Everyone around me, particularly the men in my life (hubby, grampa, dad, son), are saying STOP LOSING and it drives me crazy! Thank you, thank you! Good Morning & Happy Wednesday, everybody!
