That is SUCH a cool jersey!
-
OMG! I totally missed your post, DiBaby and had to go back to see what JM was talking about! That is freakin' AWESOME! And you just sold me on the spin class. I'm signing up for two of them now!
-
Bicycles Inc. should have the yellow in stock at the Bedford store.
-
Yep, they have screamin' yellow! Even have hot pink, if you were so inclined! LOL Better to match the bike.
-
Thanx, Jess...congrats on your jeans, too! That's great that you are staying so active, even through this tough season. Yes, it is harder to get to the gym because of everything else that needs to be done, but you just have to make time for it. That's not working perfectly for me, obviously, but it does work most of the time, so I'm happy. It sounds about the same for you...keep it up!
-
They ARE pretty damn sexy! LOL
-
Lucy, they sound great, actually. I'll have to check them out. Way to go, Farmer! I snack pretty much the same as MJ...nuts/seeds/dried fruit, fresh fruits and veggies, and cheese mostly. OH! And Kettle Corn! Love that stuff! I'm getting pretty good about eating throughout the entire day...feel like I eat non-stop at times. But it is really working, so I'll keep it up.
-
Thanx, JM! Like I said, they are skin-tight, but I'm in them! I NEVER thought I would see that size again...it's been over 20 years since I saw that size. I did gain two pounds over the weekend, though...UGH. I refuse to change my ticker. If I don't have them gone by Friday, I'll change it then. I didn't do jack all weekend except shop and eat, so that's what I get. Back to the gym today...I have no clue what we are working today...will check in with you peeps later. Hi, DiBaby! Hi, WHOS! Hi, EVERYONE!

Yeah, after rethinking what you said about the gravity issue, the toe cages are no answer anyhow. I have Speedplay Light Action Chrome-Moly Blacks. Let me tell ya what it says on the back of the box...it's what sold me. Combines the most user-friendly characteristics found in Speedplay's popular X and Zero road pedals into an advanced hybrid-pedal technology desighned specifically for the recreational cyclist. Dubbed "Light Action" for its unique low-force, high-security latch mechanism, the system provides the easiest, most intuitive entry and release functions ever offered in a clipless pedal system. Blends the legendary ease-of-entry and luxurious non-centering free-float of Speedplay's X Pedal System together with the robust spring design and enhanced durability of Speedplay's Zero Pedal System. The same cutting-edge performance benefits that have made Speedplay Pedal Systems famous, including: Dual-sided pedal means no flipping, no fumbling, no looking down to engage. Self-locating cleat guides the entry motion and makes finding the pedal easier. 15 degrees of non-centering free-float increases comfort by reducing stress on the knees. Large, stable cleat platform for optimal power transmission and all-day comfort. True-locking engagement mechanism provides security and prevents inadvertenet release. Precision cartridge and needle bearings for reduced friction and longer life. Built-in grease-port for fast and easy bearing maintenance. I love them!

Well, no snow here...just cold as hell. Made it home from Houston in one piece, thank goodnes. I reall hate that drive! Stopped at the Conroe Outlet Mall when I saw that they have a Levi's Outlet. They only had one pair in my size, but they will get more. I was so proud to tell her that I wanted a Juniors super low rise size 13 Bootcut Long!!!! She was nice enough to check backstock and found two. One worked, one didn't...oh well. You just cant beat the prices at 25 bucks when they are almost double that at Kohl's. The new jeans are skin tight, but I can wear them. They won't be skin tight for very long...maybe two weeks, then they will fit right. Here's hoping! :clap2:

B - Would you like to use my toe cage pedals? I never even used them when I bought the new bike since I wanted my Speedplays installed immediately. (I'm so impatient.) I thought the Frogs were just for mountain bikes?
-
Note to self: Stop at Target on way out of town...need Mint Truffle Kisses for drive to Houston.
-
Just when did THAT happen, and why didn't I get the memo?!?!?
-
Lucy - gotta ask...what the heck are "spanx"?!?!? Love the name, though! LOL I don't think I could wear control garments...I'd be a nudist if I could! I think there is more than a little bit of hippie in me!

Ah, Java! Crunches, huh? That is what GOT me in this predicament in the FIRST place! LOL I do 180-240 crunches at least three times a week. That is how my tummy is finally shrinking so fast. I've been doing them forever...but it is really starting to pay off. With the skin not being able to keep up. I got some lotion last night that is supposed to help...gonna try daily massage of the area...but it's not TOO terrible...I just panicked when I noticed it for the first time. Thank you and if you come across a "magic wand", please let me know! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm off to Houston again to visit with hubby after I take our son to school, so y'all have a great weekend in case I can't check back in for bit!
-
I see. Yeah, I saw her on a magazine cover last night with her dad. Didn't know she had a show...sounds cute! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm off to Houston again to visit with hubby after I take our son to school, so y'all have a great weekend in case I can't check back in for bit!

That is encouraging about your Mom, JM! I will try the massaging, too. I bought some lotion last night that is supposed to help...we will see. My sis had RNY and I don't think her stomach looks like that any more, come to think of it. Like I said, in reality I don't think it's that bad just yet, but it will likely get worse before it gets better. I think I just panicked when I noticed it...I'm a little better now, but just want to stay on top of it.

That's right! You are in God's Country, too! Where abouts are you, Wombat? I am technically Ft. Worth, but really more like Hurst. BigBaby is in Duncanville. Are you within "lunching" distance, too? Who else here is in Texas? -
Okay...I keep hearing about this chick lately...who the heck is Hannah Montana?!?!?

I looked at your profile and you are so close to me! We could meet near The Parks Mall for lunch sometime! -
I need to find something that helps with elasticity. It's still soft, but it's starting to look "shrivelled"...ugh gross, I hate it! Like a ballon that's been inflated for a long time and suddenly gets popped. It's not too bad yet, but I want to attack the problem NOW. Here I come, GOOGLE!

Whoa! You are in Dallas? What part? We gotta do lunch! LOL It is in Sam Moon Center at Loop 12 and 635. Don't ask me the name of the joint, but it is about four shops to the left of Sam Moon Home. One look at the prices and you will know you are there! -
Suzzzie, my girl....WTF?!?!? (Though I must say that I wish I had some Taco Soup right now!) Sorry you are a prisoner to the porcelain god, though!
-
Okay, I'm copying this to all my threads. I got a look at myself today that I did NOT like! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay...question: what do you do to tone up the skin when you lose weight? Specifically, my tummy is shrinking faster than my skin can keep up and I don't know what to do for it. Hubby has always raved about my skin and this is VERY important to me. Heck, even my manicurist raves about my skin. This is a vanity point for me and I need HELP!
