Hmmm....I didn't know about the BP, My blood pressure was 140/80 yesterday. I was down a little....doctor hasn't decided to put me on meds for it yet. I'm so happy your going with the band.:clap2: PS: I am also mom of many (3) and I definitely don't want any more:biggrin1:

Hello, Mom of many, I also have or had psuedo tumor, I saw a neurologist and an opthmalogist, I was diagnosed with this maybe 3 years ago, I had the Lumbar where they removed the fluid, the dr, said he removed a lot of fluid, but the fluid immediately starts to come back. (I didn't like the LP) I took the diurectics for a short period of time. What I did immediately was start losing weight, as this is the only thing that can reverse this, I also had the lapband and have lost about 50lbs all together. My headches have disappeared, I don't know if it's gone yet, but I'm hoping with my next appointment that it will be gone. Did you know that a person could go blind from a psuedo tumor? this blew me away.....I suggest the lapband, I prefer this anyday overthat lp. This PTC is what helped me get an approval for this lapband.

Hello, I got my fill today. A different doctor with more experience than my original surgeon gave me my fill. I think he fixed me good, he showed me the xray while I drank the barium, and the barium didn't move for a second, then it dripped slowly. Whenever my surgeon did it the barium flowed out fast. I will see how much restriction I have next monday as I'm on my 7th day of the master's cleanse (lost 11lbs this week) I told my lapband doctor today I was on this liquid diet, he said, he is only concerned with me not getting enough protein,and not praticing the slower chewing when doing only liquids.

Well there's always next time around. Today is day 5, I never knew how food is such a major part of our life. When I'm driving to work Doritos truck in front of me. Part of m yjob requires me to enter the mall, and I enter the food court area, It seemed like every mall or place I went to had a Panda Express.LOL. I'm scheduled for a fill this Tuesday, and I'm hoping this one will get to my sweet spot. I'm down 6 and 1/2 pounds today.

hello,how's it going it's day 4 now, I've lost 4 pounds. I had a rough time on day 2, and day 3 was a breeze, I even cooked for the family without eating any. How are you doing?

I have Pacificare Hmo, they covered me 100% I switched to them because they covered the surgery. I first went to my pcp and mentioned it to her, she told me to first try other methods, so I went on the appointments with the dietitician.(I think I only went on 4 or 5 visits, this seemed like a waste of time to me, sitting there listening to someone tell you how you should eat and writing up a menu, As If!) also on that visit I told my PCp about pre existing problem with a PsuedoTumor which is caused by being overweight, so then I had to start seeing the optometrist and having all these tests done. All they want is a paper trial that you have tried something else and its not working, I also went to see the gynecologist because I was having nonstop bleeding and Iwas already anemic, I was approved for surgery before I started going to see a podiatrist. My advice whatever ails you due to your weight, go to the doctor get referrals, go see the dietician, whatever it takes, because the time has got to pass by anyway. Right? and then just work on losing as much as you can before the surgery.

I have gone ahead and started my cleanse today, I drank the salt water this morning not a quart like they suggest,that part was gross, don't know how long I'm going to be able to do that one. Iwasn't going to start until Saturday night because I was going to have company and go to a baby shower,but if you can resist at the amusement park,I guess I can show some will power also/

All man...don't give in.....resist the temptation. you can do it, I hear day 2 is the hardest. I got my Package today but doesn't look like I will be starting until Saturday night.

How much did you find the syrup for. I still here waiting on my delivery.

Hey I am glad you posted this,I had been searching the threads to see if anyone had already started a thread and I came upon this one. I purchased the masters cleanse book and the kit. I couldn't find a gallon of the syrup cheaper, this appears to be the best deal. I am not a doctor but I am not worried about passing out. I have done 3 day fasts(no food, just water) in the past, and I love the results I get spirtually speaking, I'm hoping this will give me a boost and clean out toxins and give a new perspective on the things I put into my body. There'a a thread on Roscea, I broke out with this 3 months after my banding. I had never had it before, check that thread out,it may be helpful, my regular doctor, and banding doctor had no idea,so I went to the Dermatologist, she diagnosed it and gave me some meds.

I too Love Christmas!, I would love to be in Onederland by Christmas, according to Funny's doctor, it is possible. But I'm going to set a more conservative goal of 35lbs lost by Christmas which would put me at 241. Anything more than that would be gravy.
