hI everyone , I was banded in october and have lost 41lbs so far. this is my problem , all of a sudden about 2 days ago I feel like I did when I first got the band. I am very tight and having trouble with any type of solid foods. I have even vomited a few times. Its strange because last week I was thinking I need an adjustment because I felt wide open. Any way I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen ? I have not yet had any adjustments and have no saline at all in the band , thanks all. :thumbup:

yes my insurance will pay for it thank god for that. I just cant wait to see what the gi series says . If thats what it is I just want to get it over with. All i can eat now are liquids . I am in Nj where are you located ? take care , Kathy.

Well i went to the doctor yesterday and he thinks my band may have slipped. So now I will have an upper GI on thursday to see. If it slipped he will have to surgically replace it , really depressing , oh well I will keep you posted , thanks for the respones.

I have no saline in mine either at the time of surgery. My doctor said he will give me an adjustment when i stop losing. How much weight have you lost since yours ? I have lost 41 and dont know if that is average or not. I will post tomorrow after my appointment , I just hope its nothing too bad.

Hi everyone I am new here. I was banded on october 22. To date I have lost 25lbs. I wanted to know if this was an average weight loss ? I did not have to start a liquid diet until the day before. I am very happy with it so far just thought I should be losing more ? Would appreciate anyones feedback , thanks .

Hey wanted to say hi , I got banded on oct 22 down 24 lbs. I see your from NJ , me too. My doctor was dr jordan garrison , have had no fill yet , how about you how are you doing since surgery ? Would love to hear back from you. Katieanne

hey Julie thanks for your reply. I guess I am being impatient. My sister was banded last november and is down 80lbs. I wanted to ask you how do you get that ticker on your site ? I was banded oct 22 2008 , dr jordan garrison , have had no fills yet . How do you get your fills ? My doctor does them in the hospital then wants to do a upper GI with barium so he can see what kind of restriction there is . he says that takes the guess work out of how tight or loose it is.
