I was banded 3 weeks ago today!! I am still filling soreness/pain at my port. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this normal? Thanks!

My surgery went just like everyone told me it would. My surgeon told my husband it was a textbook case. The only thing that went wrong that day is my husband was downsized from his job over the phone while I was in the middle of surgery!! I hope that dose not happen to any one else!! It is a great story for me to tell!!!!

I was banded on Nov 20th. It has been almost 3 weeks. My post-op diet plan states that I should only be eating ¼ cup off food at each meal. I am eating more like ¾ to 1 whole cup of food at each meal. I feel like I am cheating!! I don’t really feel any difference with my stomach!! I feel like I have already started down a bad path right out the gate!!
