Hello all.. i would like to say congrats to everyone! even if you just lost a pound this week or whatever.. it is still one step closer to sucess! i got my band on jun 16 2008.. i have lost 79llbs and i am so close to my goal!! i can't wait, i feel fantastic! it was slow at first but after my second fill everything just started melting off of me!! good luck to everyone!! :frown:

I was banded on June 16,2008 and i have lost 62 pounds.. i didn't have any kind of pre op diet.. i am looking foward to progress in the near future!! I need to get back into working out!. my next fill is dec 31st:biggrin: HAPPY 6 MONTHS JUNIES!!

Hello my name is Ashley, im from houston Texas, im 22 years old and a mother of one (daughter 2yrs old) i was banded on june 16, 2008.. My Surgeon was Dr. Robert Marivn. since june i have lost 62 llbs!! .. I have never been this small before as an adult! I feel that i am on my way to a better more confident me! IM LOVING MY BAND!! Plenty of people told me to do gastric bypass... because i wouldn't loose alot of weight on the lap band system, I was very nervous about that.. but it seems to be working out for me! i would love to speak with anyone that was banded in june of 2008 to see how the progress is going. Not to say i don't want to talk to anyone else, because i do!! please contact me.. i will have pics soon.. i don't have alot of before pics because i didn't like pics that much back then. well any how, i cant wait to hear from everyone.
