Hey Slayer,
Great Job! We have very similar stories.... I am 42, 6'0 ft tall, starting weight of 356lbs.... I was banded on June 29, 2009, down 55 lbs, just received my second adjustment on 2/5/2010... Hope to keep coming down so we can continue to have common goals.

Hello PSJ, I did WW in the past and found it very helpful... However, since surgery I still try to eat as if I am on WW but I no longer track the points, primarilly because I am taking in less food than required by WW. Hope your first fill tomorrow goes better than mine. The doctor could not locate my port, I know have to make an appointment to have a Fluoroscopy done. Good Luck! -

Hello June Bandster’s: I was banded on Monday, June 29, 2009 also… Stayed over nite and came home Tuesday afternoon…. Feeling better each passing day. Beginning to sleep more comfortable on my side at nite… Wednesday, I was ecstatic about being able to incorporate cream of chicken/broccoli soup (strained of course). Was growing tired of broths & jello… Although, the sugar free popsicles aren’t to bad…. Went for a walk today with kids…. Take One Day at a Time! -
I must agree with the advice from one of the previous responders... You should neither commit your financial resources to this relationship nor should you be thinking about bringing any children into this relationship unless you are 100% sure this relationship is on Solid Ground from the Start... I will admit though... I must commend you for initiating sexual relation. I speak only from example in my relationship, I for the most part... No Longer take the initiation, primarily because over the years I have become frustrated with rejections & excuses of, am tired, sleepy, or not tonite or we just did it two/ five nights ago and/or I need my rest for work tomorrow! :blushing:

Hello June Bandsters.... It took me a while to finally receive a surgery date of June 29, 2009.... After the first denial I thought I may never get the surgery, but with some determination and time devoted to writing an Appeal letter, it's finally going to take place....

Hello Crystal, I live in Upper Marlboro, MD. I am getting Banded June 29, 2009 at Washington Hospital Center by Dr. Frederick Fenili. They have a support group there and they meet at least one weekend out of the month. If you are interested I can provide you with the website and information.

Hi Bandsters, I hope to be getting banded sometime in January or early February. I have completed all the preliminary exams. Doc has submitted the files to the Health Insurance Co., waiting on their approval..... Keep me lifted... (You can find me Hunt'n or Fish'n, or Rid'n)
