hi there i am okay handling things just got a 1cc fill last wk so getting used to the foods i can and can't tolerate again ttys

hello I am seven months post-op and have problems eating chicken more than I do steak. Also for daily intake during meals for example if you have a fill of 2cc. how much do you eat during a meal vs. 4cc, 6cc, ect any advice and input will be helpful.:wink:

I waited for over a month to get my second fill because I accidently missed an appt and then I had my fill which brought me to 6cc and that was extreme I could not tolerate anything at the office I could drink the water but when I went home for a wk I could not eat or just about drink anything so the doctor had me come back in and then unfill about 3/4 so I am just over 5. CCs. but I am still learning what my body can handle.

Advil is in the same category as the othe anti-inflamatory drugs which my doctor told me would cause stomach upset and problems with the:eek: band so it probably would be a good idea just to stick with tylenol or ask if anything else they can prescribe.

The question is how do you feel over all congradulations on your weight loss. I am also banded by realize you are at the right place to voice your concerns as you are a newbie as my kids say you are in for alot of feelings and test. But what one person goes through another may not May you continue to be encourage and blessed

Banded July 7, 2008 First Fill Aug 8, 2008 -33 -53 since start of process 120 :thumbup: to go I am still in the process of learning my band and how it working with my body and also adjusting my mentality to say it okay for change to happen and modify my portions their is still alot of questionable eating habits that I have that need to be resolved. Progress I look forward too.:girl_hug: -
