hi honey i am glad, i would say the same to anyone with a concern to just dont give them any room to hide, when i had my problem i was on top of it immediately and they knew from my mail tone that i was not mucking about, however i was not rude or abrupt and as you all know they done very well by me. So i am sure he will sort ye out. gx

hi flirty, i can eat this morning at last, its mental it just goes super tight, i think its my stomach swelling with the sheer ammount of bevvy as it was a big one hahahaha, great for the scales though. gx

hi all hope your all well, does anyone else expierience that there band really tightens the next day after a booze binge, i have been on a stag do in liverpool and was able to drink no probs but i never ate a thing for 2 days, however today i cant eat a dam thing which is pretty frustration as now i have sobered up i am starving. g

oh the picture of that soup brings it all back, that was about the time the barium meal kicked in, hahaha gx

good morning, yep unfortunately your just going to have to be patient it will not just happen over night, sorry to be the berer of bad news but it never went on overnight. Like you if i was told before i got banded i would be6-7 months before it really started working then i may not have done it as i am very impatient but the time has flied by, i allbeit have had problems so i dont think you will need to wait as long as me but from what i gather ladies seems to be 3-4 fills before reachine restriction and then it has to be constntly tweaked. the band is a tool not a cure and we all still have to make correct food choices and still healthy low calorie and low fat foods however when restriction really kicks in the ammount you will be able to eat in one sitting will be drastically reduced and thats when it really starts moving. Please please do not get dishertened as before time you will be a hefty chunk down and you will look back on this moment. Take care gx

Bobo Inspirational bobo, a great post for all those having a hard time, it does get better, well done. I can add to that as since my band problem has been fixed and I have proper restriction my weight is faling off, i have shed 2 stone in as many months so like you it has taken 7 months from op date to get to a point where its actually working, so i am chuffed to bits. G

hi mandy thats a wee shame, do yourself a favour and do a food diary, try and go back a few days as it is more honest that way rather than doing it from now as you will subcontiously watch what your doing. if you cn remember the last few days it will be a worthwhile excercise, remember weightloss is purely arithmetic eat less than you burn and you will loose weight, i know you are only able to eat soups but wht are the other wee things you may be having as they all add up, if your honest and this is still low then i would suggest you eat a little more via meal replcement shakes. you know i will always help if i can so just pm me your intake and i will calc for you, only if you want of course. gx
