    Not Confident Enough

i can completely understand you being concious about going to the gym but you will find it the opposite, people will support you. If you can bring yourself to doing that then get outside and walk and when you know no one is around and looking, pick a spot in the distance maybe at first 20 feet away and run to it, then gradually increase tht distance. Trust me after a month you will notice a huge difference and you wont even think about being concious but you need to do it 4 times a week and stick at it for a month and I promise you will feel better and fitter. Try it.

i am also fair partial to a binge drink session, the only effect it has on me is it swells my stomach the next day and my band gets super, super tight.

Starsky Dont get too disheartened we all have had that emotion, although i kind of lost 2 months through my problem, i was banded in feb and nevery really got to true restriciton till end sept, up till then i thought i had it but by chirst when you get it right you know about it. I was finding with fills that when i was getting close to what i thot was restriction it would go away agin after 10 days however i got a fill at the end of oct and today is as tight if not tighter, i can eat very little appart from chocoalte nd cakes which i have no probs however my will power is good at the mo so still loosing If i hve a binge session on the booze i literelly cant relly eat the next day at ll as my stomch must swell, even Fluid is a struggle but after 2 days i can have Soups thendy 3 or 4 cn add solids agin but tht is self inflictied. I think what i am saying is dont rush it as if you went from eating everything to what i have i think it would do your head in as i really hve to work t it. good luck gx

Unfortunately in excess of 4000 people in there right mind choose to do it this was as it is the only option, everyone is uncomfortable about it but as an earlier post says use big notes, fred meets you in hotel the night before and relieves you of it ever so gracefully. g

Welld one, the crckerbread would be fine with the mayo but its the chicken tht does it, i made a curry last night and too the time and cut the chicken into pieces the size of a pea and it was great. This is where the learning curve really begins, here is a strange one, for me bread has nae chance even pan bread toasted however i toased plain (scottish bred for those that dont know) and it goes down nicely llbeit slowly. BUt as everyone says it changes by the day. gx

Hi honey i hope your well, are you sitting down for this, at your current weight based upon your normal daily activity ie wlking talking sleeping eating your body needs 1430 cals per day to keep your weight steady. THe rough rule is that to loose 1 pound of body fat per week you need to be minus 3500 calories per week which equtes to you eating 930 which is not a lot, thats why the importance of excercise is crucial to you looosing as you can still loose that pound per week by still eating 1400 cals as long as your burning 3500 per week in excercise which at your low weight is quite a bit of training to give you and idea at your weight an hour of jogging will burn you 600 cals so you would need to add 5 runs per week phewwwwww, i cant emphasise enough about doing weights as well,(it wont get you bigger) this is even more effective in loosing fat than cardio training ask any fitness instructor therefroe if you do a combo of both you will loose that extra bit but more importantly you will be toned. http://www.prohealth.com/weightloss/tools/exercise/calculator1_2.cfm this is a handy wee site for calculating calories through excercise. Also look up in your area "Bikhram hot yoga" s since i have added this to my training i have toned up a lot and lost weight .I hope this makes sense if not PM me your number and i will call you as its easier to talk through (good try at getting your number eh just a pitty your so far way hahahaha). gx

aw thats a shame, the gym will make a huge difference but please please please give it time, i say to folk that it will take at least a month of going min of 3 times a week before even mentally you feel the benefit and then you will get obsessed, just trust me. Some days you will drive into car park and want to drive right back out but it does change. gx

  23. hiya, i do train 6 days a weeks i need to its so important to loosing weight, i run, do spin classes, aerobice, boxing yoga and weights, people think that weights will make them bigger, doing weights is more important than doing cardio, way more. i do not want to have saggy skin when i get to my target weight so i will have a bit of muscle this is also why i will only get to 17 stone and not the 12 stone ll the charts say i should.
