Hi Tony I am a36 yr old male and was banded last friday, if you go with the std package that is 4070 eure and they like to recieve a deposit of 470 euro which books hotels and txis, the balance of 3600 is payable in euro cash the night before. The deposit they will accept via bank transfer and they will give you all details if not i could send you a copy of the letter with all the above details on it. Any questions just ask. Garry

Kaka/Shoes I too was sh***ing myself about the injections, when my dad was alive he was diabetic and i could not even stick watching him inject himself let alone do it too myself. The first one i was adament that i would do myself and to be completely honest it is nothing, i dont even feel the needle, maybe because it goes into the fat and i have plenty. All in all form a big woos it was easy so dont worry about it at all. Garry

marg Contacted cdb and he said put ice on it and check with GP. Done that and he thinks its just delayed post op bruising and swelling and said all wounds are nice clean and not inflamed. I had told my mum hahahahaha, seems to have went down a bit. You decided on your menu, i think fillet steak and chips is just perfect, ooops am dreaming again says he as I tuck into a bowl of custard, how flamboyant. hahahahaha Thanks for support Garry x

i have mailed himand he has said i have to take ibuprofen and use an ice pack and contact gp. i have an appointment at 6.10. i feel ok but i look pregnant on 1 side hahahahahahaha keep you posted. x

thanks wishfull, i am a tad worried as the swelling is not just one bit but its the size of a melon under all my left hand wounds

I changed my dressings yesterday, all was fine wounds are nice and clean however i think your right Dr Chris did not stich me up as i done think the stitches are too neat however not big enough to worry. I have a slight concern today is tht mt left side around wounds lower and too the left has swollen right out and feels hard as if there is fluid gathering, anyone had this or any ideas.

Gillian/MMM Thanks for those points, yeh i am just taking it easy not want too overdo it as i feel so good. The food thing is fine not struggling at all, i made porridge this morning very thin and it went down great, tonights i tried something and it worked a treat, i cooked some lamb mince and boiled 2 potatoes till very soft i then blended the 2 with milk and it gave basically a soup but it was tasty and was gettin in good carbs and proteins. Can eat that no prob but water still gives me a strange sensation, bizzare, all in all doing fine. Regards Garry

3 days post op and my restriction seems minimal with soup,milk,yoghurt however try and drink similar volume of water and I can feel it,how weird!!!!!!!!!

i would have to say that although i am sticking to the liquid input i would say i done really have much restriction i guess this must just be me healing quickly inside also, would anyone agree or any points. Garry

god thats a shame, glad to hear your on the mend. My mum is here at my house and i passed on your thanks she said no problem. I am feeling great was out a 30 min walk in belgium on sunday and got a lot better and less pain by day,

I too was one of the group that got done at the same time as MMM if i can suggest one thing it would be to try and find out who else is in hotel due to done and if you can make a move to start a chat, it was invaluable support not only for our helpers having someone to chat shop and dine with but for being able to bounce of each other post op round the table for a cup of soup mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Garry

Hi I have a consultation on 18th dec in manchester, i believed it was with Dr Chris however i believe he is doing a clinic in edinburght, a few people have mentioned it will be fredderick, What does this mean. Anyone help
