hi bev, thanks for your kind words, i am still very upbeat i aint the kind of guy to let things get on top of me, its just an unfortunate problem that will be sorted, i am still eating well and training 6 days a week so althought weight is slow i am loosing inches and getting mega fit. Gx

shoes, fortuntely for me they have made a specil offer for me in that i pay for nothing, i have paid flight but will get it refunded when i get there. so i am happy jusy hope i dont need to go through all the same sh*t as per initial op. gx

Well I got my date today going over next tues the 11th and gettn fixed on 12th so all good they have been fantastic can't fault frederik, chris d and dr chris very impressed with the way they have handled it. So all u guys being done on the 12th let me know who u are and I can hold your hand and offer as much advice as I can hopefully I can ease your axiety. Gx

Hi all I spoke to her today she is a bit sore round tummy but in good spirits and seeing the doc tomorrow

yeh funnily i had the same thought 6 weeks ago and text her, she got cold feet and felt guilty about not being able to loose weight on her own, a wee shame if you feel that way as it starts the demons in her head, i tried to tell her she was doing it for the right reasons but she said she may in sep/oct. gx

mmm and myself were done on fri 13th however i have had my fair share of problems for everyone hahaha oh well onwards and upwards can only get better. gx

i think its a good idea but he would need to have an agreement as after my problem i would not be happy letting anyone outside ecfs do a fill because i would be left without a leg to stand on if my fill was by wls. g

yes they both did and frederik called me from his holiday to let me know he will call me on monday and that i wont be out pocket for the repair, so will find out for definate on mon. gx

i have pasted below the email i sent to ECFS (frederik/Chris) which hs got me hopefully the result i wanted. Chris/Frederik I hope you both are well and you had a nice vacation Frederik. I met with Dr today and he has diagnosed that I do unfortunately have a leak in my system which he says is through no fault of my own. He has asked me to mail both of you to start the proceedings to ensure I get a speedy repair and continue with my weight loss. I am very concerned to understand that there “could be a cost involved” for any redo surgery over and above the cost of flights and accommodation and this causes me great upset and worry especially when I have done nothing to cause this. I am in no way unhappy with ECFS service until now and do not blame Chris Deprez, it is unfortunately one of those things that need to be fixed and very quickly. As you both know I regularly meet and chat to potential ECFS (Dr Chris) future patients and pass on my knowledge and good experiences from your service and please be assured that this will continue. I have no holiday or time restraints stopping me from coming to Belgium therefore I need this arranged immediately as I understand Dr Chris is on vacation at the end of August and I do not wish to wait any longer for this to be resolved. Can you please reply to this mail urgently letting me know what the situation regarding time slots and the gentle solution you mentioned in your mail below. Look forward to hearing from you. Soft, gently but too the point. g

hi mate yeh fortunately i am still motivated so eating well and still training, possibly eating more volume but still healthy so loosing slowly at least not going up. g

hi mags no not got date yet as frederik is on holiday till monday however give him his due he read my mail nd called me lst night ensuring it will be dealt with immediataly in august and that he thinks i wont be out of pocket so thats all good news, i cant fault them, unfortunately its one of those things. gx

gillian nice to hear from you, on the belgian choc front i know exctly where the shop is as i emptied it the night before my op so no doubt i will do it again. gx

hi all my goodnes you have made me chuckle today with all this poo and bowel chat its so funny, I take a proteindrink twice a day and my god that works just dandy. Well i met Dr today and yip i got a leak in my system somewhere, he gave me 3 seperate fills and defills and no change and when he went back in he could only remove less than he put in so its leaking. He did say it is through no fault of my own and that fred/chris will contact me. I have to go to belgium and get an xray and check fwhere it is leaking and then it will be booked for following day to repair. I have send fred/chri an email detailing tht i do not blame anyone its one of those things and that i need an immediate solution and that as it not my fault i do not intend to be financially out of pocket> i Have just had a call from chris deprez 5 mins ago saying he will see fred on monday and call me then. I explained to him again all the good we tlk about his team on this forum and the personal meetings i have had with future clients and assured him that this will not change as its just on of those things as my port is difficult to locate, so we will wait and see what monday brings. Dr did say that sometimes if its the tubing he can do it under a local anesthetic (ooouuuccchhh) or indeed if its a general then its only the port scar they repoen. so looks like am belgium bound get your orders in for the belgian choccys. gx

Mandy I am sorry you feel this way but unfortunately i think we have all felt this at sometime its just the way it is and is not personal,(how could it be) we are all the same and benefit greatly from each others expieriences. I think you will be cutting of your nose if you leave the forum but its your choice and if you do i am sure we will all wish you well for the future. gx
