hi mags, i am please your shedding the weight allbeit you dont have much to loose, i did hve a chat with CDB on the gym item things, i sked him about abdominal stuff, no you cant do full sit ups but you really should not be doing them anymore anyway as there old hat so do small crunches or lie flat back and do leg raises. On the vibrating plate machines he said he has no problems with them, he said some surgeons say no but he doesnt so that good, so whoever sent back the hired one (cant remember) get back on the phone as the boss said it was ok. I also asked about the rowing machine, he slightly screwed his face up as he said its very repetitive and if you do, do it then not for too long. hope this helps folks. gx

Hey odge I met your friend in the hotel this afternoon, she is gorgeous and her mum kindly gave me a bandage, she look fabulous and did not look like she was in much pain. gx

well hellloooooo peepss, thank you very much for all your kind words and thoughts. I have made a few new bandster friends and hopefully helped them along the way, toppings is a riot she was hee hawing and belly laughing this morning in the hospital to a few frowns from the nurses. Thanks flirtly babe for updating everyone, frnakly i was shi**ing myself as from talking to freddy on tues night it sounded like i was going to need a new band as they did not think it was a leak, they told me i was getting a general and they would open up and give me a fill and see if and where it was leaking, fortunately it was a leak in the tube and this was caused not by an inexperienced fill but from when i had the hematoma early on the scr tissue it left had moved the tubing closer to the port so it was virtually sitting on the port not below therefore as my port is hard to find when filling any 1 of my fill could have hit it, it was just unfortuante it was the last one with chris. I do not blame him in anyway as where it was place dr cdb said he was surprised it had not happened in an earlier fill. so i just got the one wound reopened and no gas so i have little pain apart from they moved the port and restitched tothe muscle, they also removd the old scar tissue from the hematoma so its went down a little. It has made me so pleased about not changing my fill provider as this could have happened with another company and i would be left high and dry with a large bill, i know other fill co are cheaper but i would hate for this to happen to someone else outwith Dr cdb or ECFS. I was done and dusted last night and never needed to stay so i got up this morning and walked back to the hospital as i knew a few of the girls were there alone just to offer any support i could, a couple were in a bit o pain and a little teary so a friendly face and a cuddle sorted them out, so i was fit enought to go back to the belgian choc shop, obviously for presents, so i am feeling fine, they filled it back up with 7ml and i just need to wait a few weeks to get another fill up to the 10-11 mark where i was and yeee ha restriction back of which they told me i wont pat for either. So a big thumbs up and thanks to dr c and freddy and the tem for making this as smooth and painless as poss. gx

Well am sitting in my room in belgium bored oot my nut, just seen frederic so i will be knocked out tomorrow they will open the port scar and check if the leak is in the tubing right enough and if so they will repair, if not they will have to replce the whole thing and have 5 holes opened again not really what i want to hear but i wont know about it, so i will keep you posted if not tomorrow then thursday. gx

hi there you are in good hands you will be fine, i was banded in feb and i will also be in belgium on the 11th, 12th as i have a wee leak getting sorted in mine so hopefully our paths may cross, just pipe up if you have any questions that have not been mentioned. g

my understanding to this point is that he thinks its the tubing from my port, therefore he will x ray me the night before and then decide, if thats what it is he can replace the tubing and i think by only opening the port scar, so i dont think i will have all the holes opended again well i hope not. I have to stay in hosp one night and like everyone else i cant go home till following day. If they find its leaking elsewhere then i have no idea, i guess it will need replaced and as for fills after i am unsure what will happen. All the fun of the fair. gx

an interesting point i was only told not to do sit ups, i will question dr next week as i train regularly and need to understand what we can and cannot due, so i will report back next week all. gx
