I first decided to go for a Lapband back in November 2008, I went to 2 different seminars and then decided to go with Dr. Amit Trevedi out of Hackensack, NJ.  I was told I needed to complete 6 months of some sort of weight loss program prior to being approved which I did, as well as all of the pre-surgery exams and tests.  I am now scheduled for tomorrow, August 13, 2009 for surgery and could not be happier.  I have been living around 285 pounds since 2000 or so, with losing a little here and there getting down to 265 was a far as I ever was able to go.  Now I top the scales at 301 pounds and surgery can not come quick enough.I honestly do no have a weight goal in mind that I would like to be, I just want to be comfortable and able to play with my 3 beautiful children and not feel so tired all of the time.  I can't wait for my life to change for the better!
