Just wanted to try the ticker thing. Hope it works! Do you have to paste in everytime you put a message on?

I was banded on the 11th and stayed one night in hospital. The only way to go - I needed that night as I had shoulder pain and a bit of dry heaves. Helped to be there. Felt pretty poor on the 12th but then much better after I got home and took a shower in my own shower and nap in my own bed. Felt good to get that "hospital smell" off. I have not weighed since 12/11 but at that time had lost 13 on the preop diet. I know I have lost quite a bit since as I can almost feel it falling off. Today I woke up and felt the best and actually think I might be up for the day. Anyone know how I can get that ticker thing on the bottom of my message? I have tried with no luck. Good luck to all ahead and behind me in the banding process. It will be worth it that's for sure!

I was banded on the 11th. Surgery day not bad but the day after I had that shoulder pain. Glad I could stay one night in the hospital - don't know how I could have done it otherwise. Didn't feel too good on the 12th until I got home and took a shower in my own shower and got some clean clothes on. Had some bad shoulder pain but that is gone now. Am still on clear liquids and can tell I have lost quite a bit of weight but have not weighed since day of surgery. Lost 13 pounds on preop diet. Everyday gets better. Today I am able to enjoy my morning coffee and look forward to the day. I think I am done with pain meds as far as I can tell. I am so happy to be on the right road!

To be banded on the 11th and ready! Started the liquid diet on 12/1 and it is going okay. Feel good as I am down about 12 pounds. :biggrin: Looking foward to surgery to be over so I can start new life. I appreciate reading the comments as it helps.

I begin my 10 day liquid preop diet tomorrow. I am really excited but worried about going "cold turkey" tomorrow. If anyone has any tips that could help - I would appreciate.

What high protein drinks did you use?

Hey I am scheduled for Dec 11th and am really excited too. Are you ready for the pre surgery diet? I will be a few days ahead of you but hopefully we can be helpful to each other.
