I battled with my weight since I was a small child. I lost, I gained, I lost, I gained. After having 5 kids I was morbidly obese and decided to give myself a second chance by having gastric sleeve surgery. I am so glad I did because I lost more weight than I expected and it's easy for me to keep off. Having the surgery gave me the opportunity to be forced to limit the amount of food I could eat and the types of food I could eat long enough to help me permanently change my eating habits. It stopped the one thing in life that nothing else ever has and that was the yo yo effect.
