like 11.57 for 12 of them. they were 6 oz. each. way less than at the store individually.
-
i found individual greek yogurt cups at sams today. i am so excited. just thought i would share.

this is a great site. eggface makes protein muffins, icecream, cake... basically she puts it in everything but it still tastes good. the few recipes i have tried off there have been great. just giving you props *slim* awesome find.

it is mostly scrambled eggs which includes omlettes and frittatas. they talk about it in support group at gbi occasionally. brooke says it is the rubbery texture they tend to get. i hadnt had a problem but it was one of the first things i got really sick on during the few days of painful vomiting. another thing to avoid is hotdogs (with skin which is a gross thought) they say. i got sick on this too. it was what started the unrelenting pain but the eggs started the pain. i hadnt had a problem with hotdogs either. i had eaten one on fourth of july and was fine. they also say sometimes this just happens. may i restate the confusion i have. scrambled eggs was a go to item for me but i can not explain this pain i had so i am avoiding. apparently they have caused more than a few slips. it is defintely a known problem i have come to find out.

you sound hungry.
-
Glad you are feeling better. When I am filled I don't get hungry until afternoon either but I have been told that to accelerate your weight loss you should eat something within an hour of getting up so I try to. Usually can't eat more than a few bites (well, a couple of months ago anyway).

thanks for the suggestions. i wasnt sure if things like grits were good for weight loss. i am just really confused now about everything band related. corliss - i unfortuanatley hate oatmeal. i never had a problem with eggs at all before but they think that may have been what caused my slip. i am trying and to avoid them at all costs. they told me to be extremely careful with eggs and any other avoidable foods (hotdogs, etc.). i am scared that i will be eating poached chicken breasts for the rest of my life. cmexrl - i was talking about long term. thankfully i am over the beginning diet stuff. i had my "first" fill today. back to "regular" food. is everything in air quotes now? talk about altered reality. i gained 9 lbs when I weighed today. I knew I was going to gain but I wish it hadnt been that much.

I was wondering what you all are eating for breakfast regularly. I have had a slipped band that was repaired and so I am not going to be eating eggs or breads. My thoughts are yogurt and cottage cheese but I bet that these will get old. Any other ideas for food besides protein shakes?

I am great actually. ready to get back on the fill track and not be so hungry. they took all of my fluid out when they redid my surgery. i like the new name, btw.
-
slim - why did you change your name? i am so ready to eat solid food!!!
-
I really hope you start feeling better. well wishes your way.

both. i take medicine for my sleep. i was told that it would get better as i lost weight but i have lost 80 lbs. with no change. oh well. my husband used to have gallbladder problems and his was caused by fatty foods. he got rid of his too. no symptoms after surgery.
-
i have insomnia but last night i went to sleep for a couple of hours then was awake for about three. feeling awful today.
-
Ditto to corliss

I am on soft foods now. I am doing better. I lost 12 pounds in that clear liquid week after not losing for a month, so that is good. Feeling like doing more now. Still watching Food Network while I drool.:crying: I am glad you are feeling restriction and hoping your teeth feel better soon.

it will be better when you can chew again. hoping you feel better. popsicle, carnation instant breakfast, pudding, soups, lots of water... bleh, i'm over this. :smile2: give me something to chew.
-
yep. it sucks. i have to start over with the follow up appointments too. :tongue2: pudding, water, mashed potatoes (thin), popsicle, soup
-
I try to use that plastic food as a reference too. thanks for the replies.

feeling better. ready to eat. :cool2: slim - i have been reading theworldaccordingtoeggface and it is great. i have been going back through her blog and there are some great recipes. carrie - thinking of you. question: when they ask you if you are eating a cup of food how much does 3-4 ounces of meat account for? if i eat 3 ounces of chicken and 1/2 cup of veg does that constitute 1 cup? just curious.
