    I was hungry today as well but I also found that enev when I was just a little hungry I was more mind hungry because I was feeling deprived and wanted to snack!! I had a latte in the am, then some crystal light. late morning I had my m uscle milk and for lunch I had broth. Broth didn't hold me too long and by mid afternoon I had a slim fast. When I got home I blended up some bean soup but it really just made me hungry! now I'm sitting here thinking "ok ONE MORE DAY OF THIS!!" funny thing, my poor husband had jaw surgery and is wired shut for 6weeks, so he has been on a liquid diet for two weeks! I SERIOUSLY can't complain about two days!:smile2:

    seriously lol I'm Hungry! I know it will get better as the day goes on but these first few hours have been hard! I woke up hungry this am! had my venti skinny latte, then 32oz of crystal light and then an hour later my tummy was literally growling so I had a muscle milk. Those things have a lot of fat in em!? fat scares me :biggrin: anyhow it's 10:00 am I'm hoping the afternoon will go better! I can do this!!!!

    ok so Here goes day one! :biggrin: So far I've been savoring my venti sugar free hazelnut latte. I brought slim fast and muscle milk for the rest of the day..... got onthe scale this AM and I'm motivated to make this 5days work for me. I really need to get back on track and loosing again. I'm up about 5lbs :smile2:

    I'm going to start the pouch test tomorrow Wednesday, the 8th.! really looking forward to getting back on track- I was banded about a year and a half ago and I'm down 80lbs but have gained about 4lbs in the past 2months as I'm not making good choices! I'm really hoping this will just start me back on track!

    I'm going to start tomorrow with you! I was banded 1/15/08 and over the past year and a half I took my time loosing about 80lbs. I've really stalled since Jan when I had a miscarriage and life just seemed to fall apart. I've gained about 4lbs in the past few months so it's time to get back on track! I think I have about 6cc in myband and my nurse said I'm oretty tight but I sure don't feel like I am- I feel like I have figured out ways to cheat the band and I want to get back to eating correct portions and paying attention to my signals! anyhow I'm looking foward to this next 5days!! xoxo Mikaela

    I typically do fine with toast. Not so much first thing in the morning though as I'm tighter inthe am. I jut take my time and CHEW!

    haven't been around in a few months.... Not doing super hot. Not gaining but not loosing. I haven't been watching what I'm eating AT ALL!!!! I've been eating some pretty crappy stuff too. For some reason I went carb crazy! I kept reading how some people's Doc's had told them some bread was ok so forth. My Doc FORBID It!! but after time it made me crazy to be forbidden, so anyhow I had some here and there and didn't have an issue with it so now I've become FAR too comfortableeating them! Sandwiche's Bagles!! yikes! Like I said I'm not gaining but I'm wondering if I'm doing damage to my band? I can eat far more than I think I should be able to. I can eat an entire sandwich or bagle and not even feel full! my husband and I ate dinner last night he ate half of what I had and said he was stuffed. Umm who has the band?? I did self pay for my band and my covered year is up so I haven't had a fill in quite sometime. But in Jan at my last visit I did a fluor and my nurse said my band was as tight as she'd let me have it. I'm just feeling like a failure right now because I'm not working my band. Before I 'fell off the wagon' a few months ago I was working out 5days a week and doing well with my food and wasn't loosing. I got frusterated at my lul and when life got busy with trips, graduations so forth I just went on a free for all. anyhow I'd like some advice on how I'm able to eat some much- anyone else like this? BTW I rarely have pain or vomiting when I eat things "i shouldn't" oh and I don't have a cute little counter but I was banded 1/15/08 and I'm down about 80lbs

    Tiffany- r u serious? "is this too much" you didn't eat a darn thing!:eek: Just wondering if you guys are posting everything that you eat or if you are just posting you main meals? If I log everything that crosses my lips it come out to a lot more than anything I'm seeing here? and I'm not doing horrible I've lost 65lbs. I'm just reading this and thinking OMG I eat way too much! but I usually don't go over 1200cal. 6:00 AM Triple Venti Non Fat Sugar Free Hazelnut Latte busy at work no Breakfast:closedeyes: 12:00 Lunch: 1can tuna, tbs dill relish, tbs mustard, 1 small tomatoe in pita pocket *wanting something sweet*:bored: 2 trader Joes Ginger Cookies (only 30cal) 3:30 Snack: 9mini cheddar rice cakes 6:00 Dinner: pork chop and mixed veggies 8:00 snacked a few handfulls of popcorn string cheese thats EVERYTHING:frog: seems like 4times as much as everyone else??

    luluc-thax for the reply. I'm pretty bad with planning I'm not much of a cooker and I'm trying harder to learn and also learn to be prepared. I get really bored at my desk all day and I KNOW that's why I go looking for something to snack on. Believe it or not weekends are the best for me because we are on teh go and I'm busy with the house and family. Sitting at my boring desk all day is terrible :tongue: today I went and bought a bag of cinnimon jolly ranchers. Thought I could pop one in my mouth when I was wanting a sweet snack. Worked good this am when I went 'looking' Held me fine until lunch. I have been pretty good about what comes into the house. My hubby isn't a sweet person at all and I keep a few things around for my son (4yrs) like fruit snacks which I've only eat'n once or twice when I was really desperate! lol but really he doesn't need the junk either so I try to be pretty good about what is in the cupboards. I'm doing better today. I had my grande non fat late this am and for lunch I had a pita with tuna fish and tomatoe. Im still wanting a little something right now so I fixed a cup of tea and I'm chewing gum! :cursing:

    ok so it seems like you guys don't eat anything! I snack all day long! I'm always popping something in to my mouth :tongue: I just had a fluro the other day to check my band and my nurse wouldn't fill me anymore after we saw that I was pretty darn tight. so how come I still eat so much!? I never have that "oh I'm full!" feeling? ugg I don't even want to wriet down what I ate yesterday!!:cursing: 6 AM:grande non fat late 8:00AM B: 1/2c trader Joes Raisin Bran with a Yoplait fat free yogurt 10:30AM S: approx 8 Trader Joes Honey Whole Wheat pretzel Sticks 12:30 PM L:South Beach Savor Pork with Green Beans 2:00 randomly grabbed a few chips a friend was eating:thumbdown: 3:30PM S: pear 5:00 PM came home and started emotional grazing on crap because I didn't want to cook dinner and I was tired from work !!! few bites of ice cream, few bites of popcorn, cup of hot coco D: spaghetti squash with marinara sauce

    new to this thread well actually I have been reading for awhile but this is my first post. I was banded 1/15/2008 just celebrated my one year. i'm down 65lbs but the past two months I didn't loose as I was pregnant but I had a miscarriage so now I'm back to focusing on getting down these last few lbs. I have 20-25 more to go before I want to try to get pregnant again. Anyhow I'm reading all of your posts and feel like I eat so much more than all of you! :cursing: I feel hungry today already I've had a grande non fat latte, a yoplait fat free yogurt with 1/2cup raisin bran in it, then an hour or so later I had some trader joes honey whole wheat pretzel sticks. (about 10) This totals about 435calories and 1gram of fat. Do you think this is bad? That gives me only 600ish calories for the rest of the day. :thumbdown:I have a hard time with perspective. I guess writing it out it doesn't seem that horrible but I've been telling myself all morning "ugg I've eat'n so much today!" :tt1:

  21. I had pretty bad back pain with my first pregnancy. I went to a chiropractor the entire time. I'm already noticing back pain and I'm 8weeks. i sit at a desk all day and my posture has changed. I'm going to ask my OBtomorrow for a referrral to chiro and massage theryapy. Gotta stay comfortable and healthy! Are you trying to do some mild streatching through out the day? I get up every hour or so and walk around, try to touch my toes, take a few clensing breaths, reach up high. Just open things up. Do you work? Also make the hubby do most of the house work!!
  22. good question because I had a realy wierd experience today!!!!!! I was leaning against a counter that was hitting right where my port is. Hold that thought- I actually made hubby feel my port last night because I thought it was sticking out more lol- he get's so groosed out by it! ANyhow so I'm leanign against this counter and didn't even realize it was hitting my port until a leaned away and realized it felt funny. As I walked to my car it felt really funny almost like I knocked the darn thing loose lol- once I convinced myself I couldn't knock it loose I figured the sensation was just from mybely and everything slightly changin positions as I grow! I havn't gained any weight yet. I'm 8weeks and don't look preggo at all. I know things are changing though, I can feel it in my posture.
  23. hmm interesting. I wondered about this as well. I have really cut back from adding S&L to things but I LOVE it in my sun tea int eh summer so it's gonna be hard this summer. I use like 5packets in a big ol 32oz glass sometimes twice a day!! I do drink "skinny latte's" daily though which is a sugar free sweetner, not sure what though and I also drink propel. Wonder what is in that for sweetner?!:wub:
  24. you guys are so great! thank you so much for all of your support! so we have good news. My HCG levels went up Wednesday, not a huge jump but up none the less which is a good sign. becuase they were rising so slowly my OB did want to do a US to make sure all looked well. There he/she was a little dot with heart pounding away at 140beats per min. All looks good :biggrin: I still have occasional spotting, nothing too alarming, it's not even red just light pink and only once and awhile on TP so we are cautiosly optomistic and taking it a day at a time. I'm feeling like I can enjoy my pregnancy more now. The past week I havn't wanted to write minteh baby journal or talk about my crazings this that and the other because I was trying to detach myself from it in case I was loosing it. Anyhow as I said we are cautiosly optomisitc and hoping and praying for a less eventful 8months! I havn't been stressing over my weight for the last week or so either, seemed rather trivial with the danger at hand. Although I'm happy to report that I'm sitt'n pretty at 216.5 :confused: I was 215 when I tested positive and over the first few weeks went up to 218. Now over the past 2weeks I've gone down a few lbs. I'm watching it closely now and trying not to pack on the lbs with this pregnancy but I also want to make sure I'm healthy. although I just can't get enough MILK and junior mints! lol I was never one to have a glass of milk and now I'm drinking 3glasses a day!:tongue: lol. Well everyone keep the posts com'n they are too few and far between!! xoxoxo Mikaela
