Well during my 2 week preop diet I lost 19 lbs. Then the week after surgery I lost 11 more. I had surgery on Feb 5th. I have actually gained back a couple of lbs becuase I am still not filled to the correct amount. I had a fill on March 16th at 4cc's but I was up all night getting sick so I went back on March 17th and got 2 ccs out. Then on April 14th I got another fill of 1 cc so I am at 3 now and I still don't have very much restriction. I just called today to reschedule my next fill to May 12th. That is the soonest they can get me in because I have to see Deperi or Webb because neither Welchel or Hagen could find my port. I really like Webb anyway because when he gives a fill I don't even feel the needle! I don't know how he does it! By the way I was very skeptical about going to Memorial for the surgery but I was very impressed with the whole thing I hope that helps

Dr Webb is really great! His office is good too plus it is right across the street from Novus so you can go to both if you need it. Let me know if you need other info. I think I need 1 more fill (I have had 2) but I am looking forward to really starting to lose weight

My surgeon is Dr Webb. He is awesome!! I got my first fill on March 16th but I was overfilled and went back on Tuesday the 17th and Dr Deperi took out 2 cc's and I am able to eat now. WHEW!!

I am doing a lot better. I went back to work this past Monday. The pressure is finally gone. The surgeon described what I had was like a black eye to my esophagus. The vomiting and dry heaving caused my band to "punch" my esophagus until it was swollen and sore. Now I can eat everything I want and unfortunatly I am. I am going to try to get on back on track though. I have lost 27 lbs and I really want to keep losing but if I stay with this terrible behavior I won't. How are you doing now? Julie

My biggest problem is pressure right under my breast bone. It is there all the time regardless of what I eat or don't eat. Standing, laying down, sitting, nothing helps. I am going back to the surgeon tomorrow for a follow up I hope he can help me do something becuase it because it is driving me crazy Julie

I had surgery on Feb 5th. I am getting better. I had a rough weekend but I know it will be worth it. My surgeon was Dr Webb. He is very nice and he was understanding when I kept calling on Friday and over the weekend. Who is your surgeon? I know there are several around. I can tell you that I was apprehensive about going to Memorial but now I am glad that I did. They were very good to me. Julie

Yes. I had surgery on Feb 5th. I am still recovering. I had a pretty bad time with nausea (which I think was my fault) but I think I am over the hump.
