Anyone experience long bouts of nausea?
Ruthi replied to Ruthi's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think you may be right, I have had a pretty uneventful recovery and this is the first time to feel like this. Has to be a virus of some kind. Oh well clear liquids doesnt sound good but neither does anything else right now. -

no, I am not, I think I have gotten in a cup of fluid all day today. Just too sick to drink anything. I am thinking of going back to clear liquids until this thing clears up. I am so close to throwing up all of the time. -

Make your decision after you and your dh speak with the doctor. Congrats on getting it approved. I would take that as a sign that it is meant to be. -

What do you want to do that you couldn't do before the sleeve?
Ruthi replied to *susan*'s topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Ok, walking by him wearing vicky secrets and having him eat his heart out would be good too or I would be sitting in the Jag. -

This may sound shallow or vindictive or just plain bad but....my ex husband was cruel to me about my weight and when I have gotten to goal, I would love to just walk past him and let him eat his heart out. I want to dfrive by him in a jag too. He was nasty about my getting my engineering degree. -

Ruthi replied to Oregon Rose's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Elastic wont be a problem I wore sun dresses alot after surgery but stretch pants were fine too. No problem with bras even with underwires. I wouldnt recommend tight blue jeans with metal buttons or snaps, They can be painful when sitting -

Its wonderful about your date. I am soooo happy for you. Its really unfortunate about the layoff bu you will be saving on your grocery bills. I am from the country too and very familiar with putting up the fruits and veggies. Made any pickles this summer?

It will be fine, I had a lap scar from a surgery yrs ago and it faded away and nearly disappeared. With the weight loss it will be even less visible
