I am like Oregan Daisy, the liquids werent a problem at all, my head told me I was hungry all the time. I was having doubts as to if the Dr did anything at all but as the liquids got thicker, like yogurt and pudding, it was definitely noticeable. Dont worry, its going to work for you. Welcome to the site, we love new sleeve sisters. -
Shout out to Dr. Aceves pts and airline question

Chas, You are a home boy, I grew up in Chester and got one of my degrees from SIU Carbondale. Welcome! I recommend Dr Aceves highly, he is the best, you wont regret it. -
No I didnt have a problem getting in my protein at all but then our post op period has been pretty much alike

You still have some time to get in the mood for cooking, by the time you are on solids, Bod will be on clear liquids. You have at least 6 more weeks to get into that mood

?How many ibs a week do u lose?
Ruthi replied to ALISIA's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think the average is about 2 - 3 lbs a wk but I am sure it is different from person to person. I am 2 weeks out and have been stuck at the same weight for 5 days and havent done more than 600 to 700 cal a day at best. However, I havent been doing great on the exercise regime either, although I really work toward being more motivated. Ok, that really sucks but I hate exercise with a passion. I am trying to find something that I enjoy doing that will work for the exercise I need. I am hunting for a nature trail this weekend and a biking trail. That should help some. Just plain exercising is soooo boring to me. Maybe someone should dangle a piece of cheese cake in front of my treadmill. -
I had my surgery the same day as Vegas Angel and I dont remember any of that either. It was really a good surgical experience and I have had a few. Post op has been a breeze for me.

maybe they were confusing it with the horizontal sleeze talk.com

I am doing fabulouly thanks, I keep wondering if he even did anything to me. Not having even a little problem with the post op diet but Oregan daisy says I will be able to tell when I get to solid foods.. Have a great trip

I think that after my last emergency surgery for a complication with the lap band and with what I know now about Dr. Aceves, I would have chosen Dr Aceves and his self pay over any of the US surgeons and insurance paying for it. No complications is just that important to me. I couldnt go through that again
