HEY!! national guard is good! my husband went from national guard (colorado) to active duty.. jobs back home were hard to come by and he is a great soldier! I am getting mine done here at our MTF.. it's different than a civilian dr. because they dont actually have a "bariatric" department and the military never will so the general surgeons train on this procedure and then "fit it iin" when they have time. I actually found out my surgery date the day of the memorial service for the victims. I had just gotten home.. So a sad day with a much happier moment. things have just started getting back to normal.. after all the media left! i hope your husbands foot is doing well.. take care!
