Hello, can anyone tell me if Cobra pays for the lapband and if so what is it I need to do to get things started? Also do you have to be in Cobra for sometime for them to pay ?

:think I am having major problems with getting BC/BS HeleathSelect of Texas to pay for the lapband and after this last appeal I have decide to get an attorney, does any know of a Good Attorney that can help with an appeal,either in TX. or Can practice law in Tx. I have 2 names Gary Viscio of Viscio & Associates,PC and Walter Lindstrom Jr. the only problem I'm having is obtaining some credentials and ratings from the ABA.in my area. If anyone has retain either one of these attorneys and won their appeal Please put up a posting .:pray: :pray: :pray:

To pplqueen,what city and state are you in ? and could you please help me? I'm so desperate. I have had BC/BS insurance for well over 12 yrs. and I can't afford an out-of-pocket expense even though my life depends on it. Also I'm very happy for you good luck with your surgery.

To michele6789 and countless of others that have BC/BS, I to have this crappy insurance and I was denied 3 yrs ago. I have did countless appeals, got together with my co-workers and Human Resource tried having the benefits coordinators change the policyexclusion even wrote our congressman and I have not had any luck. If anyone got approval through an appeal thru BC/BS please reply back immediately I so want to know exactly what procedures you took inorder to get the approval.

Hi,I'm from Bmt,Tx and since you live in PortNeches you should try Dr.Felix Spiegel he has done several surgeries of friends and co-workers of mine and they are doing excellent, the only thing is, he does'nt work with BC/BS of Texas.
