Hi, I just saw a doctor here in Vegas today who is going to do my surgery. Blossom Bariatrics is the website you can go to. His name is Dr. Umbach. I started my journey with Dr. Adkinson. I found his staff to be---well not so helpful. I called to see if they had my information that my doctor had faxed them. No, they didn't. They have SO many faxes that they all just go into a box.I called my doctor and asked if he had anyone else he could recommend-. I went to a seminar today at Desert Spring Hospital. This doctor has only been in Vegas for four months, so he is easy to get into for the surgery. I found Adkinsons group to be like a get em in, get em out. This Doctor is very personable. I hope this will help you. Good luck in your journey. I have an appointment December 10th.Sorry to be so long, but this is a serious surgery, and I just wanted you to have some choices that may help you out. Hi, I just found your forum this evening while searching for info. about patients in L.V. who have had this surgery locally. I am hoping to have this surgery in the next few months since I would definitely be better off with less fluff (fat). Any recommendations that you can share would be appreciated. K.
