    hoffman never called me back nor did posner. I am livid with the office and how they have responded. I should have seen the signs from day one with the nasty receptionist. The only person who actually gave a crap was the cool skinny chick who did the weigh ins. She was great. As for everyone else...they can go to %$** for all I care. I am happy with my decision to do RNY instead but still..I feel the office should have been more professional.

    cannot argue with u there. the girl your talking about is Melony, she is sweet and like you said, she cares and she is professional. good luck on your wt loss journey and let us know how you make out with you RNY.

    Does anyone have an appt on thurs. 5/6, i called today, and they are squeezing me in for a fill before im back to pre op wt...:thumbdown:

    Hello again

    Just wanted to check in and say hello as well as give an update..

    I have decided to go for "the big one" with caruana. My open gastric bypass is scheduled for May 10 @ 2:30. Very excited and feel very at peace with my decision. It makes me realize that having posner cancel me may have been the best and worst thing that could have happened to me.

    yes im a nurse. well i gotthe scriptin themailtoday and it says the test is to see ifsleep apnea is resolved from weight loss....wtf. i want to see that too but wanted to wait till i lost about 5 more pounds

    ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh yeah, well i stopped using my machine several months ago, but now my doc wants me to have the home self titrating machine, cause ive been waking up with apnea again since I gained this weight again so apnea care should be contacting me any day now, so here we go again uugghh, i hate that damned machine already...:redface: i still dont know what the hell all this has to do with your band.. when do u go back?

    well the home saturation is checking the oxygen level in my blood. i have an appt on the 4th and when hoffman asks me why i didnt get it done, im going to tell him. they piss me off that she changes it without talking to me

    im confused, what does your blood oxygen have to do with your band being too tight? is something else going on with you, let us know, hope u feel better soon...:thumbup:

    well i called them today because hoff told me if i wasnt better to have a swallow study done before my next appt on may 4th. well i called to get a script because im not that much better. barb tries calling me back but i was at a meeting at the time. so i call them back and they tell me barb decides to change the test cuz the swallowing study wont show anything and orders a home saturation test instead. and she didnt even talk to me. now id like to know how that test will tell them the position of my band, which is why he said to get it. aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    well its awful funny they did a swallow test on me to see what was going on and it did, and what the hell is a home saturation test. if your not happy val, i would call them back and tell them u want the swallow for your own piece of mind....:scared2:

    VICKI! YOU KNOW BETTER!!! Shame on you *points finger at you!* We're gonna have to do better than that! Now you went through that surgery not to gain weight but to lose weight *tough love sweety* You gonna have to be motivated and NO EXCUSES! And you are NOT allowed to degrade yourself with demeaning words. Give yourself love ..ok. You know what you have to do..Disipline yourself (eat only at certain times, and go back to measuring out your food). We can do this!

    I go back on the 4th and I will let all y'all know how I do. So if I do'nt lose any weight when I go back then Vicki, I give you permission to verbally kick my ass! Now lets get back to the basics :)

    THANK U SOOO MUCH YVETTE, THAT WAS TRUE LOVE AND IF YOU GAINED WT, THEN I WILL LOVE U BACK...LOL. ITS NOT REALLY FUNNY, THIS SUCKS....:thumbup:

    I guess Im here, but Im just not in the LAP-BAND® mentality. Too busy gaining weight. 14 more weeks until my due date than I can count on you ladies to get me back on track right?????

U GOTTA BE KIDDING ME RAIN...I WENT TO HOFFMANS AND I WISH I COULD SAY IM PREGNANT, CAUSE I HAVE GAINED 25 LBS SINCE 4/1, YES, OF THIS YEAR, 8 WEEKS, WHAT A PIG I AM, IM DISGUSTED, FROM 185 TO 211...SOME ONE NEEDS TO KICK MY ASS, I HATE MYSELF...$%&*#@%*& :thumbup: WTF :) SIGH.............. IM TIRED NOW...........:lol:

    well, i went out and bought a $800 treadmill with all the bells and whistles, now that i have it, i dont know why, cause i'll never use all the stuff on it, just want to walk 20 min or so..ha... so how stupid am I, i am determined not to let it sit in the basement, yes the basement, cause i have no room up here. so i must make myself go into the basement and walk on an $800 conveyer belt...wtf....im stupid. anyway, i have an appt with the hoff on wed, anyone else going?

    vicki, some days are good, some not so good. still eating small amounts. i will prob call next week to set up a sallow study before my next appt

    what is going on val, u just cant eat alot, or heartburn, does it feel different than just being tight? i'm just wondering why you dont just think your too tight and need a swallow study. I know I knew it was something more, just wondering what your feeling is. :confused:

    Thanks...... Sorry to see all the stuff your going through right now!! I went back and read all the postings.... Wow you can never be 100% sure nothing can happen even when treating your bad with respect. I wish you all the best. I'm trying not to be a stranger it just happens when I'm so busy. Between my two children, my son graduating high school this June and working VA Research/UB foundation it's been a real adventure. LOL

    Wow, sounds like a busy schedule, yeah, had lots of problems, hope they are resolved now, but like you said yoiu can never be sure.:thumbdown:
