    given up

Calm down the eating. On what you call good days when you can eat all you want, don't. Stick to protein first, then veggies. The band is only a tool, and its easy to forget and want it quick. Try and eat the same everyday. Chew it to death and no drinking with meals. But don't give up, remember you are doing this for you, we don't give up on others, shouldn't give up on you.

Hey 50 & over gang We have a new spot

Hello, I just found you! I'm 51 and got my first fill Jan. 30, 09. I don't feel to much of a difference, just a tiny bit. I had surgery on the 18th of Dec. and have lost 25 pounds. I get on the scales way to much, so have decided to just go by the docs scale when I have appt., I was weighing at 3 in the morning. Crazy. I was hoping :cursing: for more loss, but am happy with what I've had. Glad I found you guys, thanks. TYF
  5. Hi, I am 51, mom to four, nanna to 8 grandkids. Married for 28 years, and ready for my date to get here. When I started thinking about the band, I also found I had a malignant melanoma. I have had three surgeries since Aug. and am now Cancer free. I am so thankful for another chance, and I want the Lap-band more than ever. My husband is great support, but I am glad I found this sight. Good luck to everyone waiting, and to all those who are already banded. Thanks, TF:thumbup:
