Hey! I live in Fayetteville, TN but work in Huntsville, AL. I had my surgery 4/24 by Dr. Miles at St. Vincents. Have you been to the Alabama support page? There are several down your way.

How are you feeling??

Hey! Yes we had the preop visit Friday. The hospital part too 2 hours for lab and going over everything with the nurse. For the most part, they were nice but slow lol. I had the meet with Dr. Miles after that. It didn't take long. He is always so nice! He made sure my husband and I didn't have any questions... went over the importance of exercise, told us his wife has a lapband.. (I think he only mentioned that when I asked about the recovery pain.. and he said she did fine) Other than that, I'm waiting for a call tomorrow to let me know what time to be there Thursday. I dread the preop drink YUCK!! The closer it gets.. I get more nervous but work and home is keeping me SO busy I don't have much time to think about it lol. I'll keep you updated!!
