I have to admit I am horrible with temptation. I am craving everything with sugar and salt in it lately. I can tolerate some and then definitely know when I go overboard, my tummy lets me know. I need to learn temptation to help my tool help me.

I actually noticed that exact same thing.

Looking forward to today getting over with. Tomorrow is surgery -- yay!! I have to be at the hospital at 5:15 am and surger is at 7:15. :thumbup::thumbup:

Hi everyone!!! They actually discharged me home tonight on the same day as my surgery. I feel good. Tired and sore, but good. I am going to bed, update more later.

I am doing horrible on my liquid diet!!! I have been drinking what the doctor told me to drink but today the kids had some prezels bites and I had a few bites -- about 4. :cursing:After that I made myself drink liquids and eat my jello. *sigh* This is sooooo hard!!! I want to do well but I feel like I am starving, although I know I'm not. Well tomorrow is a new day and my surgery is scheduled next Tuesday November 25th. Less than a week left.

Hi everyone!!! It has been such a long process to get where we are right now. Hubby and I both started our liquid diet yesterday and he is scheduled the 29th for his surgery and I am scheduled the 25th -- both November. I am starving -- or so I think I am. :thumbdown: We can have Boost (mine is 3 per day and his is 4), SF jello, broth, SF popcicles, crystal light, fruit2O, diet V8. Hope everyone is doing great!!!

My name is Trinitie. I am 34 years old and live in Minnesota. I have been married for 7 years to a wonderful man who is going through this whole thing with me too. His surgical date is November 28th. My surgical date is November 25th. We have three kids, 11, 3 and 18 months. They are fantastic. Our whole family is so supportive of us. My husbands mom had Gastric 7 years ago and so did my mom.

I am scheduled November 25th. I am currently doing the dreaded liquid diet and on day 4 but I am doing good so far. Down 7 pounds. :thumbup: I acutally can't wait until I get banded.

I am actually doing good on my liquid diet. Today is day 4 going on 5 and I am actually not that hungry today. Doing great!!!!:thumbup:
