    I lost 1# last week. I think I am way to loose. I went for 12 days in feb being to tight and that scared me into taking my fills slower. I go back in 2 weeks and am hopefully going to get to a happy medium. It feels like I am hungry all the time.

    I will make my goal for April 10 pounds. I hope I can make it. Congrats to everybody who made their goal for March.

    It has been a while since I posted. I am at 53 pounds lost from my highest weight and 42 pounds from my surgery weight. I have had some ups and downs but I feel like I am on the down swing. I am getting better at feeling my band and when I am full. My next fill is April 21st but I feel like I am still to loose and may move it up a couple of weeks. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I weigh on Monday's so I will update you then.

    Pete, Thank you for all the encouragment. You are right on the perspective I need to have. I had lots of restriction at lunch today and I think my body was telling me to be patient. My next fill is February 4th. My husband says I should just look at the inches I have lost and how my clothes feel. This website is so aewsome because your comments were just what I needed.

    I only lost .6. I guess that is better than gaining. I just feel a little discouraged. I had my first fill last wednesday and am still hungry.

    Thank you for the encouragement. I have my first fill Wednesday so maybe next week will be better as far as weight loss. I just need to remember slow and steady wins the race.:thumbdown:

    I am weighing on Mondays and I only lost 2 pounds this week. Has a stomach virus so I will be back to the tread mill and bike this week. Dena

    I would love to add my info. surgery date 12/23/08 heighest weight 320 preop diet starting weight 308 current weight 288 weight loss since Preop diet 20lbs my end goal is to be 185 my goal for january is 15lbs

    Vitamen E oil is the best way to heal scars after surgery. I had a scar that went all the way across my forhead as a child and my mom put vitamen e oil on it everyday and you can't see it.

    I also had the durmabond. I go back to work tomorrow and I am still wondering how to explain my weight loss to people who have no clue I had this done. Does anyone have any advise? I have lost 19 pounds since I started the preop diet and since surgery. What is the expected amount of weight loss each week?:wink2:

    Mine are itching like crazy. I was banded December 23rd. I have a few incisions I thought might not be healing right but the doctor told me not to worry unless they completely open up. I have figured out were my port is and it seems like the most sore.

    I think I am going to start having 1 shake a day until my appointment with my surgeon in 2 weeks so it is not so much of a change. I guess I will try and walk on my treadmill so I am ready. I will of course enjoy Thanksgiving because my surgery is 2 days before Christmas and that won't be enjoyed. I just hope I am not in a lot of pain.

    Thank you so much. Since my surgery is 2 days before Christmas I plan on enjoying my Thanksgiving meal. I also didn't know the live shrank.

    What does the pre surgery diet consist of? I don't get banded until December 23rd so I don't see the surgeon until December 8th. I am just not sure what I got my self into. Dena

    I am a 34 year old married mother of two awesome boys. I got my surgery date yesterday for December 23rd. I think it is an early Christmas gift. I have about 120 pounds to loose. I can't wait for my new life to begin.:tongue2:

    I am new to this group. I just found out today my Surgery date is December 23rd. My early Christmas present. I can't wait till my date for a new me. :thumbdown:
