I have been banded now for 4 weeks. The first three were great on liquids and no hunger BUT NOW I'm hungry all the time and eating just about anything and in the same quantities I used to. What's going on. I know I need a fill in a couple of weeks but I feel like I don't have any restriction AT ALL! I really thought I would even with an empty band. I hope my band hasn't slipped or anything. I have lost 15 pounds so far and am pleased with that, I just want to keep this going even if it is slow I don't care. Hey T, I am getting banded by Dr. Ortiz on April 28th. Maybe I'll see you there. I have been on liquids for 4 days now (I got a little anxious and started a few days early) It's really hard. I have only cheated once. I weigh 228 5'3". I am feeling much like you, getting nervous but excited at the same time. I live in Phoenix, where are you coming from. Ellen

This is my first time on this message board. I can't tell you how much it has helped me. I am scheduled with Dr. Ortiz on April 28th. Thanks so much for all your input. I started my liquid diet today and hoping I can make it. I'm using Slimfast Optima. So far so good. That's helpful to know about the juice and snack thing. I will be flying from Phoenix. I can't wait!
