  1. I need a man. Any takers? haha

  2. OH YEESH! it's tooo long so hear it is in FOUR post lol, have fun reading..

I take it this site is all about honesty and honestly I would tell you the truth either way. I think my case is rare because I am one of 25 adolesants here in Jacksonville Florida that are part of a trial study. BUT I would not say the Lap-Band has been a good experience, though I am now, more happy than I was a year ago because it has worked and I have lost weight. But it hasn't been a good experience for me. There is the left shoulder pain you may have heard of, a pinched nerve I've heard it is, that can be quite annoying, not necasarily painful but a bad ache. Then if you over eat or don't chew good enough or eat the wrong thing, you will throw up. It's not totally painfull and gross like sick thro up is.

  3. It's just food, no stomach acid. The thing is that it's a closed off feeling in you asophigus [Don't think I spelt that right] and it feels like there is something in your throat and sometimes it can take over an hour to come up, the whole time feeling uncomfortable. Once ytou throw up your suppose to be on liquids for the next day. But when you haven't eaten anything and thew only thing you eat you throw up, you feel REALLY hungry still, then all you can have is liquids which is not satisfying. So it really blows. My problem is I wont always wait a full day, which is sometimes ok, but other times you just throw up again. Heres where the problem comes in. Now when you throw you band rubs on your stomach making it swell which is why when you throw up your suppoase to wait a day for the swelling to go back down. So if you keep thowing up the swelling get worse and it can eventually cause erossion [probably didn't spell that right either].

  4. Well I have some what because anorexic and belimic, because I can't stand the way it feels when you know your going to be sick but it could take an hour to come up and it's uncomfortable, so [bet you didn't expect me to write so much back] now I've become acustom to just making it come up if it wont stay down, other times I just wont eat to avoid the problem. But Its not completely like that. I still eat. I just last week a had a BAD situation, because I kept throwing up to the point where it was so swollen I couldn't even hold back soliva and I was throwing up some blood. So I had to get fluid out so the swelling could go down. I go in tomorrow to have the fluid put back in. So aside from all those bad things.. Not being able to eat like a regular person with family and friends. Now I'm smaller and more secure with myself.. a bit. Not completely because I still have some social anxiety, old fears wont go away for awhile. But I can do more, have more energy..

  5. well slightly but I don't eat as healthy as I'm suppose to because of the financial situation I'm in... but really once you loose the weight or well.. some of it [i'm not at my goal of 135 yet] you feel a lot better. I get more compliments which is always a booster, and boys seem more friendly now and days. lol And I can also where some of the stuff I've always wanted to and further my style so that's cool too, and you loose weight in your FINGERS and FEET!!!! Isn't that weird? Idk, I can't where some of my old shoes and this old ring I have hahaha anyway, You can ask me anything.

  6. Awe, Why thank you!
