Hi! I just wondered if the unflavored proteins, do they still have that heavy protein taste when they are added to foods or drinks? I'm just having a hard time getting that protein drink down! Thanks for any suggestions! Anita

I forgot to mention I had a lot of trouble with this with the lap band, so I took a daily stool softener and that was all I needed. No cramping with it at all.

LizaJane, OMG, I come to this board to read every evening just about and was so excited to see you on here! You probably don't know that I had this surgery and tomorrow is my 2 month date and I have lost 34 pounds! My sister had it in December and in 6 months lost 100 pounds! Benefiber actually made me so much worse! This was while I had the lap band. I actually can eat watermelon and it will work on me. Are there any foods that affect you that way maybe? I know it is miserable! Good luck!

Hi all! I have been lurking and reading, reading, reading. This is my first post, so please, let me know if I am doing something wrong. I was sleeved on 06/07 and doing well until they removed the drain tubing on 06/16. It has been red and inflamed and a stitch worked its way out on 06/25. It is still open and will just bleed every couple of days. It feels very raw and sore. I saw my surgeon on 06/30 and he said give it 2 more weeks to close. Has anyone else had this happen?? I feel like I am missing out on summer and it has really hindered exercise, as it feels like it is pulling and it is worrying me! Thank you all for so much information and help you provide! I've had a drain before with surgery and it closed immediately. This time it is driving me crazy. I did tell him it was bothering me and I was worried, but he just said give it 2 more weeks. I feel like this is really slowing my weight loss down! Thanks, Anita
