any ideas?
Due to a 1 hour and 20 minute commute each way, I am gone for 12 hours a day and have little to know time for exercise.
Anyone have any ideas for exercise in a time crunch?

It is really good with Honey

Measuring cups... lots of measuring cups. As well as liquid containers (like Water bottles, or the blenderball from GNC). And some small tupperware containers (for portioning),

fruits and veggies are like a waste of space!!! I mean I know they aren't but its just super hard! My doc actually said very little about liquid calories... Protein, Water and supplements seemed to be the main concern.

Keep the updates coming on this... Im really interested in it too, it just looks sooooo hard!

Its hard... really hard. Especially with the limited amount of food you can eat. Because of my weight I was told to get 84 grams a day, 64 at bare minimum. I try and do it with solid food and if I haven't gotten in half by lunch then I turn to supplements. And by solid I mean non-supplements.
I know a really good source is dairy and soy so I try to make sure thats what my Snacks consist of to fit in more Protein. Here's an example of a really good day I had this week.
Breakfast (16g)
2 oz turkey sausage-8
1 egg-6
Decaf with cream- 2
snack(7)
Gensoy Soy Crisps- (7)
lunch (25)
veggie lasagna- 15
Over the moon skim milk- 10
snack (4)
Sargento cheese stick- 4
dinner (24.5)
Morning Star "chicken Nuggets"-15
yogurt-7
granola-2.5
Total- 76.5g

Im ask ad you started a new thread... I need help too, but I do great at Breakfast. Usually an egg, about 2oz of Oscar myer smoked turkey sausage and either grits or toast. Has a good amount of Protein in it so I don't get hungry for a few hours. I also try go eat a lot of fish and put Beans in everything for protein since I'm allergic to nuts.

I think trying the diet first is a great idea, that way after the surgery (if you do have the surgery) you are already in the habit.
I cut out a lot of the stuff that we aren't supposed to have months before my surgery and those things are they only parts of my diet that I do not struggle with.
So I say go for it. Sounds like you are definitely ready for the change.

Thanks ladies... but I forgot to mention I'm allergic to nuts, melons, apples, carrots, and celery :blushing:

Thanks Michelle... sounds to me like she's CREATING jobs. And the salaries are modest, especially compared to DC's cost of living.

So I'm sure there is a thread like this already, but I can't find it, and I always like fresh ideas. Here's the situation...
I need to go buy food, mainly for Breakfast and snacking while not spending too much. I try to stick to the low-carb/low-sugar formula because that worked for me when I was really losing earlier in the year. Also, please remember I am on a STRICT BUDGET, so wallet friendly suggestions are key...

I just started with the daily plate on livestrong.com and it tells me to eat over 2000 cal a day inorder to lose 2 pounds a week. this is based on my current weight of 219. I am eating less than that and my weight loss has stalled, so I'm wondering if I am not eating ENOUGH and that's what's caused the weight to plateau.Lol... thats what i used too, I jus subtracted 500 cause I thought it was too much. But the calorie tracker is the best I've seen. They even have an iphone app.

3 Years Post-Op.... Failure...

I was banded in December '08. I did great the first 6 months and got down 50 pounds. May of 09 I graduated, was unemployed, had no insurance and was very depressed which caused me to gain all of the weight back plus
Today, I'm heavier ten ever. My life is slightly more in order but I have no idea where to begin. Is my band even salvageable? Is it too stretched out? Is there anything I can do. I don't know what happened to my motivation but I need it back ASAP. Any advice?
