i think alot of husbands have issues with heavy wives losing weight. my husband is a very smart man in the fact that he never said a word or made any remarks with every pound that i gained and conversely he hasnt said a word about my weight loss. although i will say that he is a silent passive agressive sabotager (meaning he'll bring home in-n-out burgers or my favorite from cold stone creamery). if its his night to plan dinner it is always mexican food or pizza or one of the many things that i shouldnt be eating to promote weight loss. keep me posted on your progess as i will you with mine. have a great week!

Try not to be discouraged, the LAP-BAND? is a slow process and for some people (me included) it takes a while to get the the ever so elusive sweet spot. just remember that the changes that you are making (working out, and better food choices) are the life style commitments we have to make to get the weight off and to maintain weight loss. for me the first 3 months was very slow i only lost 12 pounds but i kept at it, because any loss is better than a gain. if you are not at your sweet spot just be diligent about your diet and your exercise and it will all balance out in the end. whatever you do dont give up just stick to it!!! i had revsion surgery in september and am still struggling to get back were i was before my band slipped. i have only lost 10 pounds since january, but it's 10 lbs closer to my goal. be strong and keep hitting the gym, maybe add another day or pick up the duration or intensity of your workouts. keep me posted on your progress.
