Cammy - Reading your post in your album was like finding that perfect Hallmark card that says exactly how you feel. I am 33 and 245lb also. I too forget how fat I am and just as soon as I start enjoying myself I see a mirror or a picture. It ruins it all. I do not have a date yet - all of my pre-op stuff is done and I am waiting on the insurance co. now. Please update and let me know how you are doing. I would love all the details (good,bad, and ugly) I am ready for the lapband, but I am also very scared.

I saw what you wrote next to your picture and it just made me ache for you. I dont understand what makes some people so rotten. Good luck on your journey. You are definately not "DUFF"!! As for that sales lady, what a classless p.o.s she is. I would totally do a Julia Roberts on her and when you get all hot and thin, go back in and remind her of what she did. =) Good luck! You're awesome!

Oh gosh! Sorry this took so long but I got soooo sick for a few days after getting the ban. I couldn't move I was throwing up all the time. It was crazy. Tomorrow it's a week after and I finally get eat something. We will see how well it goes down.

Hi everyone! So it's Day 2 of MediTrim and I've got some wicked headaches... Like crazy. Last night I had to wake up 3 times to get Tylanol. I normally get wicked headaches instead of getting sick and stuff, but these headaches were so bad that they actually woke me up. In the past I've had headaches wake me up, maybe once a night, but never three times. I'm going to call the office and ask her if there is anything I can do. But did anyone else ever experience this? -
I started my liquid diet today... and I'm already hungry

Hey guys! So I started MediTrim Today and so far not so bad. (But I only had one so far.) My patient coordinator told me I could add sugar free Starbucks Flavours in it and it makes it taste pretty good. I added Hazelnut and ice and it tasted like an Ice cap for Tim's (Canadian coffee place). :thumbup: As for the hunger pains... ahhh it's my first day and I had a shake at 7:30am and it's 9:30am and I'm hungry. :wub: And I can't have another shake until noon for lunch. But again it's the first day. I'll try to survive. :thumbup: A little off topic, but I had horrific nightmares last night. Like crazy ones that didn't make any sense what so ever. I think I just freaked myself out. I couldn't sleep at all! Did anyone else have this? :eek: Anyways wish me luck guys!!!!! Only 14 days to go until surgery! :mad: -
Cammy, I saw what you wrote by your picture. I wanted to cry for you, it just broke my heart that anyone would treat you the way you describe. Tell them to kiss your rosey red! Those people are not your friends. Also the salespeople need to be reported. That is inexcusible. One last thing besides congrats on your decision to get a band, and big hugs. The last thing is they are blined cripple and crazy if they see ugly when they look at you, you are beautiful.

Hey there, I am getting banded on the 29th also. I am sooo excited. I know that we are going to have a huge change and people that are mean are going to be sorry when they see the new you when you have reached your goal. I know it won't be an overnight process but I am sooo ready for it. Good Luck to you and I know you will do well.
