Hi! I'm thinking of having the surgery in March but I would like to ask people that have had the surgery a few questions: How many fills do you get in a year? Is there more in the first year then other years? Do you find the fills painful at all? Do you have to get a fill after every like 10 pounds or something? Thanks so much for your help! :rolleyes2:

Hi! Thanks for reading my thread! I'm thinking of getting the surgery but I still have some questions. I've read that the lap-band surgery creates a "fullness" feeling. I was wondering what does this mean? Do you guys feel full like all the time? Is it a fullness like after you've had a huge Thanksgiving dinner? Or it's more of a not hungry feeling? Do you feel it all the time or just after you've eaten? Do you find it's reduced your snacking? I have a big problem of eating when I'm bored, does anyone have or had that??? Hello! Cammafacation here but you can call me Cammy. I haven't had lap band surgery, but I am truely interested in it. :thumbup: I don't know anyone who has had this surgery, and I want to know what your challeges were? What was the worst part? Do you find that it works? Do you have more confidence? How much weight have you lost? And how long did it take? Just so you know me, I'm 26 and I'm about 150 pounds over weight. I'm 235 and I should be around 110 (well that's what doctors and stuff tell me.) However I would happy with 150 pounds. I've done so many diets you wouldn't believe. I've exercised and lost a few here and there but nothing really worked. Accept for this one diet, super strict, and as soon as I stoped I gained the weight back. I'm a little scared of sugery because I've never done anything like this before. I'm also scared to tell my family about it. Since I come from a family of "be fit or go home" people. You know where your father asks you to put a shirt on while your swimming because your embarassing him. :cool2: I think they would think this would be cheating, you know? :tt2: Well anyways, I'm new here if I haven't mentioned that, and I would really like to know who you are doing, what did you experience, and if anyone has gone to an exotic country to get it done, like Costa Ricca or India.
