I am taking it now. I am wondering should I look for a chewable or something after surgery. The pill is small, but I am not trying to mess up my pouch

I will be checking out this Toppik. Cause I have my Sleeve this Friday. I have already begun my biotin and I have some b12 with folic acid.

Sept. Band to Sleeve Here
aloudwhisper replied to Chuchie05's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Bernie, I am also here for you. I convert from Band to Sleeve on Friday, the 19th. I lost 60 pounds and only kept off 12. It's been a hard road, but I am so glad to be coming to the end. We will be on a new path together. Here's to the new us *clink, clink (with my crystal lite) - heehee! -
Oh girl you are the day before me. We need to keep in touch. How are you feeling?

Lapband to Sleeve But I left my band in
aloudwhisper replied to bex6's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I always wondered if you could do that, cause I considered mines remaining. My surgeon said no. I was trying to do everything I could to get this weight off and keep it off. I have my surgery Friday. I am excited and super nervous. -
September Sleevers!
aloudwhisper replied to SleevedSharon's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Is anyone scheduled for Friday? I would really love to have someone to walk with during this journey. I have struggled through preop diet. I do want this, but I have truly had a hard time with my eating. -

Very soon I will go from Band to Sleeve!
aloudwhisper replied to aloudwhisper's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I hope everyone gets approved. It was a long road for me to have this surgery and it will be happening on Friday! I can't believe my time is coming fast. I also think about the different feeling of being full. I was told that we would feel it in our stomach longer and not in our esophagus. I have a friend that's 5 years out. She lost 100, but now gained back 30. She says she can eat whatever she wants, and can be hungry ever 2 hours. She also admits that she doesn't exercise or drink a lot of water. I can't be that girl. So I know what I need to do to maintain. Even if I gain back (a pound or two, not 30), I want to be able to always drink water, keep the carbs low and exercise. We havr to always do the basics for the rest of our lives. We have to tool to help us loose the weight but the commitment to keeping it off is on us. Lord, please help us to stay committed to the process. -
You think that's what it is? Have you tried low carb plans? I know if you did a lifestyle program like Atkins or South Beach you would get a great jump start. That was always my go to plan after I was banded. I just had a hard time with a lot of the veggies. But you don't have that problem. I'm looking forward to being able to eat and just get full, not stuck.

Am I the only revision...No Pre-Op Diet
aloudwhisper replied to A. Stoot's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
You are so right. Today I have been working in renewing my heart about this. I think I was also doubting my ability to do this, whether I desire this process. I am putting a lot of pressure on myself. -
But you should be able to loose. You think your stomach has stretched that much

So grateful for your post. I haven't heard of people failing at their preop. I know it will get better for my own -

Am I the only revision...No Pre-Op Diet
aloudwhisper replied to A. Stoot's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Well I was given shakes protein bars and pudding. But I can also have lean meats and veggies. Even with that I have been struggling. It's been super emotional for me. I want to do good, and I am worried about stress eating. I'm overwhelmed a bit. -

Well I think they will be on it, cause all of those things will be in that hospital bill. Lol! I purchased my gas x chewable for my return. I think I will go ahead and purchase my isopure. Cause I am not sure my stomach will be ready for anything milky -

But will they allow you to use gas X while you are in the hospital? I would think they have their own medicine -
September Sleevers!
aloudwhisper replied to SleevedSharon's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
How are yall doing with your diet? It's the hardest thing ever. I don't know what it is that is making this so hard for me, and I can eat protein. But even doing just that has been hard. I have lost 5 pounds. But I'm not proud of my eating. -
Going from Band to Sleeve
aloudwhisper replied to aloudwhisper's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I need some encouragement. I can't get it together with this preop diet. I want this process, but I think the stress of it all is making me what to eat. I'm nauseous all the time. Today is a better day, cause I had a salad. I have had low car high protein diets before, but I am struggling this time. -

Going from Band to Sleeve
aloudwhisper replied to aloudwhisper's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Wonderful! Please keep me posted. -
I have to do protein mostly, but I can have lean meat and veggies. But they want me to have 4 of their products per day. I'm doing my best to do that. I have still been hungry. I want to include my kale to their shake, cause I don't want to be constipated. I want to be sure to loose weight prior to the surgery, but I don't want to be sick. I'm already starting to feel nauseous. I have to eat something. It's one thing if my stomach wouldn't allow me to eat, but I'm hungry. And with this band it starts to lock up if I don't eat. That's another reason I want this thing out.

I was referring to your diet. Are you on liquids?
