You can always keep that weight off. I received my band in August of 2008 I have lost a total of 90 pounds. Each morning I say to myself I am going to do better then what I have done yesterday I have came to far to turn around for the FAT!. You just have to remind yourself of that because you have done an awesome job! That is what this support groups are for because this is a life change for us! You can do it!

Hi, Whatever you do please don't be discouraged. They told me the same thing I went with what best suited me which was the lapband. You have to understand that whatever you decide to get it's just a tool you are going to have to help it to succeed. I got my lapband August 2007 Dr. Spiegel in Houston completed my surgery he told me from day one that it's only a tool and I have to be the one to make it work. I have changed my eating habit, and start exercising I have lost a total of 90 pounds. It was a struggle but, I did not give up and I have gain my life back I feel great and look great. Please do not be discourage because you are at risk if you do not have the surgery!
